Best Western Plus Pioneer Park Inn

Excellent option to stay in Fairbanks. Ample parking. Large and clean rooms. Breakfast. Polite staff!

Clean and close to the airport. Nice pool.

The motel is about a five minute walk from Pioneer Park. It is well maintained. It has an elevator. It is centrally located but feels rural. That said, you should have a rental car to get around. The only slight criticism is they were not operating their shuttle when we stayed there, due to “staffing priorities”.

Everything was clean, even the parking lot! The towels were nice, plenty of hot water, the beds were comfortable, and it looked like all ages really enjoyed using the swimming pool. We were able to walk to the Carlson Center and Pioneer Park area which was very convenient for college graduation ceremonies. The full breakfast (eggs, meats, potatoes, cereals, fruit, yogurt, alternative milks, pastries, muffins, teas, good customizable coffee...) was greatly appreciated everyday. The dining area was kept immaculate, the food options were kept completely stocked the entire breakfast time, and the food was hot, safe temperatures, varied menu, and always displayed beautifully. It tasted good, too! It was fascinating to watch the pancake making machine. Employees were very polite and hard-working. Someplace I read it is a two-star hotel, but in my opinion it was better than that. I'd be happy to stay there again.

We got to see a couple moose right beside the parking lot! The staff were very sweet and helpful. It was quiet and set back in the woods so it made it seem more private.

We loved this property! Its right near downtown Fairbanks but in a wooded area, we saw a moose from our window! Easy parking, friendly staff, great breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, very good breakfast, they helped in a pinch when we could not find a ride from the train station, which was above and beyond! Also there is a nice trail from the parking lot that goes to a park.

This property is tired. The furniture is worn and sagging --some pieces with large tears. There were unsafe puddles of water left on the floor around the check in desk from kids playing in and out of the pool near the lobby. There was a large bouquet of wilted, dead flowers sitting on the reception desk where you check in. On a happier note, the bed was comfortable and the staff was up preparing breakfast very early so I was able to have coffee before my 5 am cab ride arrived for the airport!

the room temperature never was above 65. They did not provide shuttle service did not exist nor cab to air port that was listed on info handed out.
