Travelodge by Wyndham Fargo West Acres

I was not impressed at all. This was my first time travelling since Covid. The hallways were sweltering hot, the A/C did not go lower than 66 in our room The bathroom was dirty, I asked someone to come clean the mirror and they did not. The bathroom door would not shut. The security lock on the door was broken right off. The freezer in the mini fridge was full of frost. We were gone all day and when we returned at 5pm our room had not been attended to, bed not made and dirty towels still on the bathroom floor. The chair in the room was wobbly and I was scared I would break it. The nightside lamp with the phone charging port in the base did not work and neither did the alarm clock. The breakfast is a diabetics nightmare, no fresh fruit, no protein such as hard boiled egg or cheese or sausage links.

I left a lengthy list of feedback upon checkout. I’m travelling with my dog and generally expect to have the less ideal rooms, but this experience was something else. The room had clearly been trashed in the recent past and I do t think it was worth the cost I paid at all. I’ve stayed in hostels and dorm rooms that were more amenable and at lower price points.

This is horrid. The room stunk of cigarette smoke and not cleanly. Chaos in the parking lot. Unsafe. NOT staying here!!!! We checked out and went in to Jamestown. Property refused refund, even through arbitration with an Expedia representative. It was better to be safe and do as we had done than be sorry. I am disappointed in Expedia, also.

The location was convenient and it had the amenities that I needed. It's close to the airport and had enough decent restaurants.

This was a last minute stay because my dad was brought by ambulance to Sanford that day. When checking in the front desk employee was stoned and you could smell usage in the building. Carpets were disgusting, pool area had mold and one was able to smell the mold, shower had hair in it, when we left in the morning there was no one at the front desk (we ate breakfast and in that whole time no one was there) and LASTLY hanging in the breakfast area was sticky fly traps.

Checked into a dirty room. Front desk clerk checked me into a second room. Second room was also dirty. Will never stay here or any other travel lodge hotel again.

Rooms are clean but bathroom shower curtain rod is held up by painters tape. The shelf in the bathroom was ripped off of the wall, holes still in the wall. No shower gel, only bat soap, no hair conditioner. Normally we would bring it but forgot. TV should be replaced. Half of it was dark. Would be nice if those things were available. Not a ton of parking either. Overall this is an ok place to stay. We didn’t expect a lot, so our expectations weren’t set high.

This was the dirtiest, most chaotic hotel I've ever stayed. After traveling all day to get to Fargo, ND & arrive at such a mess was disappointing & stressful. I checked out after the first night to stay elsewhere. Please get a handle on basic cleanliness & customer service. Both were shameful & not worthy of the Wyndham brand.

Bathroom was not clean. Blankets had cigarette burns. Curtains on windows dirty. Windows very dirty. Room a/c and heat did not work. Hot tub jets did not work correctly. Upon arrival there was a group in parking lot doing drugs.

Will never stay again. For starters the online ad says they have bus/rv/truck parking... THEY DO NOT. No one ever at the counter, have to track them down. Place is dirty, smells old and musky. Bed was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs in your back. Stayed two nights. No one came to clean up or make bed, apparently that is only upon request. Place is a joke. NEVER AGAIN.
