Econo Lodge & Suites

The hotel has been recently remodeled. The staff was attentive and friendly. I slept great. They offer a shuttle service from the airport for a fee.

Front desk couldn’t find the reservation, could barely speak English. Charged an extra $15 for airport shuttle. WiFi connection was squawked as unprotected by my antivirus so couldn’t use it.

We traveled from Texas to Michigan to visit my brother and sister. We loved that the Econo Lodge was so close to the Grand Rapids airport and offered shuttle service to the airport for a small fee. I also loved that there was a wonderful restaurant next-door that we could walk to, and I was able to get the delicious lake perch that I have been craving since we moved to Texas. They gave us a discount since we were staying at the hotel next-door, which was wonderful! The only negative thing I have to say is that there was an awful odor in the room. I don’t know what it was but the bathroom smelled like adult diapers full of urine. And I know what that smells like. I was thankful there was a sink outside of the bathroom that I could use. I kept the bathroom door shut the entire time. Because the towels were in there, they also had a horrible odor. I sure hope you can figure out what that was and get it taken care of because we would like to stay there on our next trip.

Our room smelled like fresh paint. Gave us a headache but we were to tired to change plans from traveling.

It was near the airport and a good price

Overall, a good value. Clean and safe. In town for a sporting event. Easy to find location and parking. Friendly staff. Breakfast was just the minimum coffee, waffles, cereal and toast.

It was economically priced and well located for an early flight

What a nice little hotel!! Booked a night to pick up or daughter from the airport and couldn't have been more happy with the room for the price and the staff!!! We'll definitely be back!

Stayed overnight before early flight from Grand Rapids airport the next day. A vehicle alarm kept going off through out the night. Hotel offers long term parking for travellers. Staff double as shuttle service drivers to the airport, so they were not always at the front desk. In room phones did not work.
