Courtyard by Marriott Harrisburg Hershey

I booked my room a month prior for a family repass. I planned on staying close to my family during this difficult time. Granted I live 5hrs away from the hotel. When I checked into the hotel I noticed my family wasn’t there and I had booked at the wrong Marriott while the other Marriott was 12 mins away. 5 mins into check I asked could I transfer to the other Marriott and the hotel declined. They made every lying excuse to not transfer me. No grave or understanding. I wasn’t asking for a refund or anything, just a transfer to another courtyard by Marriott. It was a honest mistake of me booking at the wrong hotel. I will never stay at another Marriott. I didn’t complain about the hair in the shower and the chicken crumbs on the floor OR the dirty bbq stained comforter. They are liars and cheats.

This was a nice property but the parking was horrible.

we are extremely disappointed with the customer service provided by Beth when we visited Courtyard by Marriott Harrisburg Hershey. On June 1st we travelled as a baseball team to stay at the courtyard for the weekend and we decided to add another night. On July 3, 2022 a group of 10 decided to use the pool and then order food to eat in the sitting area in the lobby. The food arrived and we ate and stated to talk. Beth was on her working shift and at no point she gave warning or anything. As we continue to speak some customers came to the front desk and she walk towards us in a very rude tone or should I say she stood there and screamed at us by stated you need to shut up I can’t hear the customer. We stayed quiet in shock and waited for the customer to leave. At this point I went to the front desk and waited because she had walked away. When she came back I asked her what is your name and she stated I don’t care write my name down. I said excuse me but when you work in customer service you need to know how to speak to customers, you could have came to us and asked us nicely to lower our voices but instead you decided to be nasty. As I spoke to her another customer came in and heard how nasty she was being and he said I am a witness if you need one. She kept on going off, repeatedly stating you need to shut up, go to your room, get out of here. I said yes we will go but things could have been worst. There is no reason for you to be nasty.

I enjoyed my stay! My mom and I stayed a few nights. It was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel was quite empty as alot of people may have traveled for the holidays! We stayed a few nights for my birthday . It was strange yet comforting at the same time! The front desk staffer, Mrs Alba was very pleasant,friendly and helpful, during our stay! She made sure we had what we needed to make our stay enjoyable!
