The hotel staff were nice enough. However, the hallways had the vague smell of marijuana. I m not a partaker and thus did not appreciate it. The mattress condition was poor. Time to replace it. The hotel then charged me a parking fee when I checked out and I did not have a car. Come on, Marriott. They are turning into United Airlines with their fees.

Great parking with quite surroundings. Always prefer a Marriott Suites as they always think of everything you could possibly need.

We reserved our room to be with our son's soccer team for a tournament and on arrival we were informed there was a "system glitch" despite confirmation that they had our reservation that was also confirmed on my phone. Approximately an hour later we were told that the people in our "assigned room" were refusing to leave with assistant manager indicating they were upgraded the day prior and did not want to change and the other individual at the desk indicating they were refusing to check out. As we awaited a call back from the manager that was promised to us from assistant manager we went to dinner with our team and 5 hours later we still did not have a room with the only offer of a studio that slept 2 in a queen bed stating "we can give you blankets for the floor" for the other 2 (traveling 2 adults, 2 children). In the meantime, we were never contacted but he manager due to "bad cell service", watched the assistant manager check in MANY other guests whose "assigned rooms" were available, and were threatened to have the police called on us as we were raising our voices and "very insistent". The service was terrible from the assistant manager and other staff as they were "checking on our room" and we saw them on cell phones, having pizza delivered, and generally disappearing to the back office for 45 minutes on two occasions to the point where other guests standing at the desk had to call the hotel to get them to come to provide service.

Two Rooms with very different results. I was traveling with a special needs relative. My room was OK. Her room was scruffy. The edges of cabinet and doors were broken and the room smelled of smoke. Overall the the property was acceptable. The breakfast was good. They did stick me with additional charges for parking and wifi after they stay.

Short distance from MDT airport, staff were friendly. You can get around easily. Room was clean.

The hotel itself was fairly nice. The breakfast was pretty much your typical continental breakfast; nothing warm unless you microwave or toast it. My room had a few issues. A handful of the dishes in the cupboards were not properly cleaned (they had big stains or things stuck to them). The A/C in my room wasn't controlled by the wall-mounted thermostat, which had me confused for the first night when it kept running after I had turned it off. Also, the cable box didn't respond to the remote unless I opened the TV cabinet doors or was able to bounce the signal off the wall to get behind the tv where the box was installed. Overall, I would stay here again. I like the convenience of having a kitchenette when I'm traveling and the hotel is near some decent restaurants and one of the malls.
