The hotel offers a sustainable option for travelers who are concerned about reducing their carbon footprint. I love the idea, however beware that there is no elevator, so be prepared to log the luggage if you want a third floor room.

Pros : The staff is very friendly. It's a 5-minute drive to Hilo downtown. There is a beautiful ocean right in front of the hotel. Spacious parking area (during mhy 6-day stay, there was never a lack of parking space). Frequent music performances in the lobby. Cons : As an outdoor corridor-style hotel, it has worse soundproofing compared to typicalhotels. The showerhead is fixed and the water pressure isn't great. They don't provide new water bottles daily; instead, they direct you to use the water dispenser in the lobby, which is often out of order. The room is a bit on the darket side.

The remodel/update of the hotel is nice. The bathroom mirror light fixture is great, your skin looks beautiful and tan. Everything worked, AC/refrigerator/fan. Easy parking, free drinking water and coffee in the lobby. It was enjoyable

The hotel reminded me of a Motel 6. The staff is excellent and very friendly, Had the most comfortable bed I've ever had at a hotel. Slept really well. Was a couple minutes from the airport and close to plenty of parks and places to eat. Would recommend getting a rental car so you can enjoy the whole island. Can pretty much see everywhere within a couple hours from the hotel. Really easy to get around. Would stay here again if I ever come back to the island. The only negative is all the homeless in the area but the city needs to do something about that. Pretty much homeless roaming around the whole island.

My new hotel of choice. Staff friendly, helpful - treat and greet you as family. Quiet with the few planes from nearby airport. Views beautiful. Numerous food options nearby. Live entertainment and activities most days. Whether a single traveler, couple, family- something for everyone. Limitless cold water, hot coffee, water, tea 24 hrs. Free convenient parking. Convenient location to travel and view rest of island

I love love this property. It has a calm serene environment, lots of free activites and gear. Everyone we cam in contact with was genuinely friendly and very efficient. The only things i would change is no airplain fly overs and no traffic at night. I would definitely stay here again

Such a welcoming boutique hotel with the open air feel of an old Hawaii resort. Lots of tropical gardens, wood featured walls and floors. Lovely pool and reception areas. Rooms are basic and not quiet but the open air features made it all worth it. Bed was sufficient. Very Clean. Beautiful bay views and coi pond to sit by. Easy walk to town and airport so close. Such attentive staff. I will totally stay here again.
