SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston Intercontinental Arprt

Pretty standard hotel, close to IAH. Quick and free shuttle from and to the airport. Room was spacious but had some need for repair: closet door was crooked and about to fall off, some of the covers in the shower had come off and were not replaced. I reported those issues to the front desk. The biggest concern for me was the AC, which was incredibly loud. I tried turning if off at the control but it kept kicking in throughout the night. A call to the front desk didn't help, as they simply stated that unit is off when turned off at the control; in fact it wasn't. The breakfast is very simple, not much to write home about. The staff was friendly and courteous.

It was right next to the place we left our car for the week while traveling.

The best thing was that it was close to the airport, convenient access to free ways. The but thing s are, the staff was little rud, the location looked unsafe, there were couple vehicles with broken windows.

We were there during the hurricane and had booked for a late checkout. I asked at the front desk what we were to do as the hurricane was roaring and our flights were cancelled. The front desk person told me I needed to check out anyway and they couldn’t guarantee a room for the additional night. I asked where I was to go he said I don’t know but we need to clean the room for incoming guests. There was no power or water and no flights coming in… we just left and found other hotels that were more welcoming in a difficult time

Super close to the airport. Great experience. Good value

Convenient. Quiet. Spacious. Limited pleases to eat. We had early flight so airport had nothing open and hotel had nothing. I can’t help but think In Italy when we had an early flight the hotel had breakfast in a sack for departing guests. Why isn’t that done in the USA?

Pool broken, elevator broken, rooms cheaply renovated. Shuttle only runs to the airport and back not a 5 mi radius

No shuttle service after some hours. Check before you stay if you’re arriving within the running hours.

Convenience for airport transfer

Wonderful accommodations after flying in from Alberta. Would definitely stay again.
