Developer Inn & Suites Airport Jax

We were traveling in a large group in an emergency situation. For a great price we had 1 king and 2 queens. Best way to describe the rooms is its two motels rooms refurbished with an opening joined together, it was an extremely comfortable sleeping arrangement without breaking the bank.

Convenience near the airport

Booked the room since it was close to the airport. Hotel is quite dated. But the property is doing updates. The room was very clean. The bathroom not so much. There was hair stuck to the shower walls and to the shower/ bath gel pumps that the hotel provides. The hotel room doors to the room. Do not make a solid seal. The first room I was in, the seal was so large in the door I could see out side but the manager was nice enough to move me to another room despite the seal in the door not closing there either. But it wasn't as large as the last room. Not a five star hotel, but comfortable and worth the price. I cannot comment on the breakfast because I didn't eat there.

I would look into somewhere else if I were you! You literally get what you pay for in terms of customer service. I was unable to make it to my reservation (nor the funeral I was supposed to be attending) due to the NATIONAL software outage which was clearly out of anyone’s control. My flight eventually got cancelled after countless delays, and I immediately tried to reach out to them. After getting no one to speak to for days, they refuse to refund me my money!! I directly contacted Expedia since it was them I booked through, and they relayed to me that the Property Manager stated that they are very much aware of the circumstances, and still stand on their word.

Great and comfy beds, room was clean, breakfast was great, breakfast area was clean! The exterior and parking lot of the building itself could you some upkeep.

The pool was not open. Additionally in the bedding we found a small unidentified vial. When brought to managements attention they offered to transfer to a different room. We declined and asked to cancel. They refused to refund when contacted by Expedia.

The hotel is located close to the airport which was conveniently to us. Our room was in the ground floor and I found dead cockroaches on the wall. At night I was going to washroom and again found 2 running cockroaches. Washroom is tight but manageable. The manager, Joe, was really nice and helpful

I think a little more time and effort should be put into making sure the rooms are properly cleaned and dusted. I rented a mini suite, saw some dirt on the wall in the main bathroom, rented the same suit and the same dirt was there. the vent in the bathroom was noticable dirty. again the maid staff should take more pride and time when it comes to making sure the room is cleaned properly. maybe add some other options to the breakfast menu. did not like that the pool was still closed on both stay. front desk crew are always amazing. I love that there was sufficient parking and the landscape is always amazing.

The area of the motel we stayed was a little rough - backing up to low income apartments on our side, with only a chain link fence between. Clientele around us was also rough, and we felt unsafe parking the car in the lot, and ended up moving it to the front lot. No incidents. On the positive side, while the accommodations were basic, they were nice for a big family and very reasonable for getting three beds and a whole family in one room. Also - the guy at the front desk was awesome - housekeeping forgot to put our pack in play in the room (which would have been a count against them), but he worked hard to hunt one down for us and bring it to our room. Made a big positive difference in our stay. 5 stars for him.

The young gentleman at the front desk was a 10 in hospitality. He made us feel so welcome and happy to be there. The room was clean and crisp and the breakfast offering was the best we have ever experienced. The girl who ran the breakfast was amazing and helpful. Everyone was very service-oriented, and after traveling for over 50 years, we both agreed, "This was the best hospitality we have ever seen." It was great!
