KCI Lodge

I asked for non smocking room and Room 206 reeked of smoke smell that stuck on my clothes. Building is very dirty, has no elevator and exterior and parking lot are falling apart.

After securing my reservation online, i called the facility to inquire about early check-in. It was 1;45pm. On-line stated that their check-in was 4:30pm. Upon finally reaching a person to speak to....i was treated with rude haste and hung up on. I drove to this facility and sat in the parking lot to observe. This hotel looked shabby, the parking lot was rough terrain. It appeared to be a seedy, unsafe, unsecure environment. I did not even go inside. I wasted money because of the rude treatment to myself, a paying customer. And because of the ill, unkempt visually, and unsecured feelings of the outside environment i did not even want to stay. Refund please.?!

I want my $ back this place is filthy everywhere you look. Not going to shower in sleep in the bed. I took pictures and video and keep finding more sand more disgusting things. They need inspected. Please contact me. 913.304.2304 and refund me or guve me credit Oh and i called ahead and said i was on a lifting restriction and on disability and im on the 3rd floor with baggage. I had to tip the guys to get baggage up three flights plus difficult for me to walk due to NO elevator!! How am i suppose to get my luggage down? . I have no more cash! Room smelled musty and damp...carpets felt damp , meth heads everywhere, arguing in parking lot at 2am , someone working on their car til midnight right outside our window...parking lot in horrible condition...desk clerk very nice though. .we will NOT be back

It was an affordable price for a unforeseen layover.

The location for this property was good and close to anywhere I needed to be. Rates were affordable. The clerk was not as friendly as most clerks I meet upon check-in. It was the only motel I've stayed in in KCMO that didn't have a 3:00 pm check-in. The room wasn't ready when I was able to check-in. I believe that was partly my fault because I was put in a non-smoking room. The other staff that I met were wonderful. The microwave/refrigerator in the room didn't work. On my last day, before my 10:30 am check-out, the vlerk mentioned before knocked about 20 times on my door at around 9:45 am and brought someone who upgrades the rooms into my room and had him look at the walls to paint, pulled the curtain back, took him in the bathroom, etc. Aftet 10 minutes they finally left. This was a very rude thing to do when check-out was so close and it could hsve waited until I had checked out. When they were leaving, I wasn't thanked for letting them disrupt my time. They just walked out and shut the door. This is probably the 3rd/4th time I've stayed here and this will be my last. The security is lacking. They don't secure the outside door entrance ftom the parking lot and anyone could walk into the motel.

It's exactly what you'd expect for the price. Conveniently close to the airport and not to far from a shopping plaza. Very quiet and the rooms tho older clean. My only major disappointment was the check in and out time. 4:30pm check in is extremely late and 10:30am is early. Besides that it served it's purpose for the cost.
