Quality Inn Alcoa Knoxville

Was in town for a wedding traveled from Ohio. My stay was great everyone was very friendly our room was very clean. Very happy with our stay.

Room was ok. Had a musty smell almost like a dog had been in there. Water Pressure in the shower was terrible, barely would rise the soap off. Parking was terrible, they allow too many trucks with trailers and box trucks that took up multiple spot along with empty utility trailers in the parking space.

The room was clean. The bed wasnt on a normal frame. It would slide off if you bumped into it. There were several running vehicles in the parking lot. People smoking in their cars and parking lot. Gave an unsafe feeling. Also people sitting in the hallway talking on their phones until 11pm.

Facility was well maintained, convenient to the airport, dining, and shopping. Staff was very service oriented.

Parking lot not treated when a snow storm had come by. So parking lot very icy and dangerous to cross to get car. Upon checking in I had to give a $100 dollar cash deposit since I was staying there. Checked in the day before no deposit . Next day I had to. They wouldn’t do it on my credit card either. So I had to leave and go get cash to check in. I had already previously paid for my stay through Expedia which went smoothly. I asked for a receipt when I gave $100. My key to get into my room on the second day stopped working and the lady upfront had to reset it. It worked after that. No issues at check out. I did have to ask for my deposit back. They asked me if I smoked. Which I did not. Only reason why I booked the hotel was because I couldn’t get home due to the snowstorm and I’m a healthcare worker.

Stayed here cause I was stranded from a snow storm and had to get to work close by. Good room and bed. Staff nice. Only issue was parking lot was covered in snow and ice and I felt like I was skating across the parking lot. Maybe something should have been done about that. Other wise food stay.

The place was about what you would expect for a hotel in this price range. It was clean and comfortable and close to where I needed to be. Ample parking despite the place being nearly full and a moving truck taking up 4 spaces. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

The computer system was going through when I arrived and I couldn't be checked in. However, the manager, Ashley, was wonderful! She offered me coffee with a quiet place to sit and rest as I had been up since 2:30am. She also brought me water and a snack to tide me over. I was in need of scissors for wrapping Christmas gifts that I brought with me. She loaned me scissors, offered tape, and said if there was anything I needed, just ask. Another staff member, Gooli, helped me with the computer and provided 2 options for trusted taxi service including a female driver that specialized in early morning travel. That was very important to me as an older single woman traveling alone.

Close to Airport very convenient for early flight

Cleanliness of the room itself was substandard. Stain on bedspread, floors dirty. Our bed was very hard. Property was nice, walking trail and pond behind facility, plenty of parking.
