Beach Inn Motel

The room was neat and clean. It had two bath towels, one hand towel. The bed was too hard for my liking. The street noise is very noticeable and a lot. No coffee, no water. But it does offer long-term parking at a reasonable rate. The hotel is less than three miles from the port. This was a quick stop in Long Beach. We're on our way to a 7-Day Cruise.

The property is very well maintained room is clean and comfortable with all the things you need, plenty of parking, safe and quiet . staff is very professional and courteous

Covered parking

Management was alright, for the most part they leave you alone unless you have people come over. They cannot use the parking lot, they must park else where. And to have company or family come over you must pay $25 per person. During my 2 month stay, I was asked to leave once, but I was allowed to keep my belongings in my room at least for free. While I had to pay to stay the night at another hotel so I didn't get residency. My only other complaints are: #1. The maids are nice but they never knock or offer sheets/towels/trash bags or Toiletries...nor will they unclog your toilet.. #2. There's no weekly rate, they charge you $130 Monday to Thursday and $160 Friday to Sunday. And you can only book a room online at $110 Monday to Thursday. #3. The vending machine only takes quarters ( I believe ) Pros: the location is great. There's a laundromat across the street.

The entire motel looks refurbished & cleaner than most exterior entrance type motel. The area is convenient to airport & cruise terminals, but doesn't seem like a place I'd walk around at night. Has a cube fridge & microwave, but no coffee maker or coffee / tea.

This motel was a decent priced, no frills motel. It has all you would want or expect for the price range. It’s very clean, nice and easy check in, parking space that’s not extra charge. It is close enough to many destinations without having to pay the high price hotel prices. It serves it purpose and I would recommend it to anyone not wanting to pay high end prices but looking for a clean, good location spot to stay. I’ve read some complain about location but I didn’t feel unsafe at all. It’s Long Beach and no matter where you are, it’s all the same, that just goes with the city life. I will would definitely stay here again.

Free parking easy to find easy check in

This is an older property who has nicely updated their rooms. The outside looks older but the room was clean, modern & roomy. Included was a TV, hairdryer but no coffeemaker. The bed was a little to firm for our liking but it was otherwise clean and inviting. As another reviewer stated, it is on a busy street corner and the halls are outdoors so it can be a little noisy. We had to carry our bags up stairs to the second floor so I don't believe there is an elevator. This was a nice, reasonably priced stay for the night. There is a couple of decent restaurants within a short walking distance. Motel is located about halfway between the LB airport & the cruise port. No shuttle but Lyft from the LB airport was only about $20.

5 stars for this 2 star motel. Clean, well maintained, upgraded shower and sink area, good flooring,quiet, convenient parking. The outside is old school motel, but inside it was nicer than some Best Western or La Quinta we have stayed in. It was an easy walk to the concert hall and and aquariam. Highly recommend if you are only looking for a good place to sleep.

Good place if you driving to the area and need a place with free parking to park your car in order to go to Catalina Island. It's located next to a street with heavy traffic - a lot of road noice especially noticeable if you are a light sleeper at night. Other than the noice level the place is clean, cost effective, and convenient place to stay.
