Comfort Inn & Suites Airport - American Way

Friendly staff. Slight oder in room but otherwise clean. Lest vehicle there for a couple days as I took flight out of Memphis. Was assured of good security despite Memphis’s present reputation. 10 minutes to airport with free shuttle. This is not a five star hotel but good value and comfort.

Shuttle service to airport was great

This property is dirty and in a very weird area. Not near the airport. The workers also will charge your card extra when you check out please check your transaction history when you leave here or only pay in cash.

Good experience from beginning to end, although a bit pricey. The hotel's shuttle service promptly picked us up from the airport, even though it was late at night. Within just 10 minutes, we were on our way to the hotel, and the efficiency of the service was a welcome relief after a long journey. The check-in process was smooth, and despite the late hour, we were quickly provided with access to our room, ensuring a hassle-free arrival. Entering the room, I was pleased to find a spotlessly clean and fresh-smelling space. The level of cleanliness was commendable and instantly put me at ease. The mattress was comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The linens were fresh, stain-free with no signs of wear on the covers or sheets. Breakfast was free and delicious! Although I woke up close to the end of the breakfast hours, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available: fluffy eggs, savory sausages, warm biscuits with jam, fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, and coffee. The food was of excellent quality, and the flavors left a lasting impression. The hotel staff displayed warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist with any requests, ensuring that I felt welcomed and well taken care of. While the service and amenities were good, I couldn't help but feel that the cost was not entirely justified. I would consider staying here again but would also explore more affordable options in the area.

Towels were dirty as were sheets we checked in late and had early flight so we just took what they gave. Will not use again

The property was fine. The check-in staff was fine. However, the primary reason for choosing the property was, they offered a shuttle to the airport. We were told to be in the lobby at 4 am to catch the shuttle for our 6 am flight. However, no one showed up to work the front desk and no shuttle driver showed up. Shuttle was parked right outside front entrance. After one hour, we got a Uber. Front desk not staffed during that entire time.

They canceled our reservation due to high check ins for a music festival. My card was declined because I hadn’t put the travel advisory on and they cancelled my reservation even though I opted to pay at the property. Rates tripled upon our arrival and found out about the cancelled reservation. Highly unsatisfied.

Check in was easy, the room was very comfortable and clean. The only downside was we didn't know before booking we'd have to pay extra to park around the corner at a parking garage. Otherwise, the stay was great.

While all I needed was a place to stay prior to an early morning flight, I was very disappointed by my stay. After checking in and using the facilities, I was more than horrified to find that housekeeping had not left any soap in the bathroom. Yuck! Then I spent the next 6 hours listening to screaming children in the swimming pool which was located right below my room. I asked the staff if anything could be done, but as the hotel was at capacity, I was stuck with the noise until 10 pm that night when the pool closed. This combined with a mildew smell and hair in the shower made for a less than enjoyable layover in Memphis.
