Extended Stay America Suites Memphis Airport

I booked my hotel a week in advance and through hotels.com the day of I called and spoke to the manager. I informed her that my flight was going to land at 10:45 pm and that I would be a late check in. She went ahead and checked me in over the phone. When I got there , there was a woman there that was not too friendly. I explained to her that I had already checked in and she told me she couldn't see anything due to her not being able to log into the computer, and that she didn't know if she would be able to help me. Meanwhile I just got off a long flight and now being told I don't have a room. So I got on my phone and showed her my itinerary from hotels.com with the confirmation number.. this woman looked me dead in the face and said "Ma'am that has nothing to with us!" Excuse me?? How does it not?? When I've booked for this room through this website!! .. she gets the manager on the phone and the manager informed her that she indeed spoke with me and that all she had to do was get the payment. But they ended up getting into as well! So the manager told her to give me a key and she would correct it in the morning. Although the manager corrected it, she put the dates in wrong! So my reservation was from 12/1-12/4 and I was checked out on 12/3 so then after I spent a whole day in training and having anxiety about my belongings being left there. I hurry back to the hotel and was told I'd have to pay for another day! Poor service.. I almost had a panic attack I was so frustrated

The property itself seemed scary. Stragglers in parking lot. People living in hotel. Refrigerator made horrible noise. It was dented and had mold on the side.

Did not get to stay because my flight was delayed to after midnight,therefore I was unable to check in. And refuse to refund. Never again

The worst hotel I was ever been to. The hotel made double booking to the room and I entered sleeping guests room. I order two rooms and got only dirty one as they had no clean room and I slept on the floor. The air condition was not working and the room was dirty, oily and public toilet were cleaner than the room I got. At 6 AM house keeping was entering the room without even knockings. Breakfast is coffee without even cream. Don't go there. Sleep on the woods if will be more safe and clean. I'm traveling for over 30 years never been to such a dirty, unclean, unsafe, bad service and every possible bad word on hosting can describe this staying. Hotels.com didn't even wanted to refund me on the room I didn't got.

Our room was not dirty but it had a very atrong smell of cigarettes, my husband went right away to ask to be changed but the front desk told us that that was the room assigned for us that if we wanted to go she will refund us but it was very late and honestly we couldn't find another hotel available . I have asthma couldn't sleep all night, what i noticed early in the morning when we left was that the hotel parking was almost empty so i am guessing we could have been changed to another room. The bad thing is that my room was a non/smoking room

The hotel is getting really run down. There was trash, cigarette butts all over the yard and parking lot. There was people hanging around outside that looked suspicious. One day the hotel was on lock down and front desk could not tell us why. No one offered to see if i needed anything. I will not stay there again.

The entire place smelled like smoke. Lights flickered by the bed. Tv had no service. Agent said it’s because it’s on satellite and cuts in and out briefly, but didn’t have all night and offered no assistance. Worst place ever to stay for the money. Horrible
