Dirty rooms, not able to shower due to hot water not working, when asked why it wasn’t disclosed to us at check-in, I was told “I don’t know”. I asked for a partial refund, and was told a manager would contact me, it’s been 6 days and I haven’t heard from anyone. We would not have stayed there if we were told there was no hot water to be able to bathe our children, and of course shower ourselves during our travels. Around 4:30am, a man was banging on our door, demanding to be let in, my husband had to tell him multiple times that he had the wrong room. We were traveling with our children, so that felt very uneasy.

No shower curtain. I went to the front desk and asked them to put on it. They didn’t. No smoke detector. Bathroom was dirty. Been used prior to my arrival and not cleaned. Wallpaper peeling. Lock broken on entry door. I checked in late and threw by suitcase in the room without checking out its condition. I asked the next morning for a shower curtain. The desk clerk said “not again! They always do this. I’ll get them to put one in.” I later saw the room cleaning crew. They looked like they were from a prison work release program. No uniforms. The only thing that made me consider they worked there was the fact that they were pushing a cart full of linens and toilet paper. I chose not to ask them directly for anything. I didn’t need my toothbrush used to clean the toilet. I travel a lot. I know businesses in small towns usually have relaxed rules for employees, but come on. Come to work in proper attire. Make sure showers have shower curtains. Pretty sure smoke detectors are required by law too even in small towns.

Terribly run down drug deals in parking lot. Room door looked as if it had been kicked open at least 2 to 3 times.

There was a recent storm which caused a power outage before we arrived, they were unable to check us in, rooms had no power and we had to go elsewhere for stay. Shortly after, the next day despite not checking us in they still charged us for the stay at the location. Tried contacting why and to get a refund and the facility dodged the calls and Expedia customer service. If you’re looking for sketchy people, yelling in the parking lot, and sleezy hotel practices your stay is welcome here. 0/10

I got 2 rooms for this visit. Both rooms were filthy, sheets and pillow cases stained, one room didnt have any nor got any towels all weekend, drunk fight one night in parking lot keeping my pregnant wife awake. If this is the standard for red lion i will never return and i will advise others against it as well. Terrible experience for everyone of my family members on this trip.

Just needed a spot to spend the night as we were traveling. Our room had been recently renovated, so it was nice. TV didn't work, but front desk immediately fixed it for us. Room key quit working, but once again was easily fixed. Breakfast in the morning was OK. Hotel is in the process of updating, which is needed.

The motel is definitely outdated. Was clean though. The buffet breakfast was not really a buffet. Had pancakes refrigerated burritos and sandwiches and cereal. So not really a buffet. Had to slam the room door really hard to get it to close. When the heater is on the window drapes would move and everyone can look in your room so i had to wedge a pillowup to keep the privacy. Was woke up on my last night at 1130 by an employee trying to get in my room and said he didn't know anyone was in the room. Wouldn't have been a big deal except that i had to get up at 345 to catch my flight. Was a cheap motel so i guess what did i expect. Probably would pay the extra 30 to stay in a nicer hotel.
