Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort

I would rate this property 7/10 it was great clean safe amazing space 4 beds in a one bedroom one couch bed one Murphy bed two queen beds I just didn’t like we got one parking pass so we had to pay $20 a day for mini mart across the street and not a fan of the building being so old with no renovations or nothing for all that money.

Only complaint is the cramped parking garage. Had a handicapped person in party and not enough room to get in and out of car even in handicapped spot.

Loved the room the hotel it was nice an clean but the beds wasnt comfy for my back it was rough have a bad back but everyone else in my party liked it. The only thing we didnt like was the parking deck certain height an tight quarters with truck an one way up an down wasnt great

By far the best stay we have had in Myrtle Beach we didn’t expect the room to be as nice as it was it was like walking into a apartment we had a family of 5 and had a lot of room for everyone there was only one disturbance in the hall way but the front desk took care of it fast and we appreciate it the pools were great and the staff was great also never had to fight for parking there was plenty and the store and scobbys grill was the best cheap and eazy food we will be back next year for sure with some more of are family

Very clean and quiet, very friendly staff, especially Peter at the front desk. Adequate parking. No complaints at all! 💜

Nice location, clean room, great heated pools, great parking and right on the beach!

1st time staying at this property. We went during Atlantic Beach Fest, which I didn’t realize there was an event. It REAKED of marajuana the entire time. My kids and I couldn’t even sit on the balcony because it smelled so bad. The parking garage was full of motorcycles and loud music even though you only had one parking spot per each room you had in a condo, there was 6 bikes parked in one spot taking up room and fear of hitting a bike when you parked. There is NOT enough parking spots for the condo and the spaces are so small. If you don’t drive a compact car, good luck getting in and out without damage. My kids enjoyed the pool and beach and it was relatively clean. A couple were doing inappropriate things in the hot tub. The rooms were clean but dated furniture and super uncomfortable beds. They did provide extra linens and took the trash when called. One of the supervisors banged on my door and yelled at me for setting towels outside. She was extremely rude. There was a funky smell around the pool area. And there are not any close restaurants in walking distance except this ghetto ice cream /bar thing. Then the people outside were rude and smoking more marjuana. It felt sketchy but I can’t say this is the hotels fault but they definitely did nothing about it and didn’t care even though they state there is a 250.00 fine for smoking. I probably won’t stay here again. I will go back to the Holiday Inn on the strip or somewhere cleaner even if I have to pay more.

I always choose to stay here when traveling for work. Accommodations are clean and well kept and staff always friendly.

Set up of one bedroom condo is well done and is always clean. I stay here once a month while travelling for work. Staff is always friendly and very responsive if there is any issue.
