This is my second time trying to write this as Expedia crashed the first time I did. I’ll try to make it as short as I can but just to note to the readers, my partner and I are frequent travelers. To start, I had called maybe the last two hours prior to arrival. They said that If I try to check in early they will charge me an extra $60 bucks which I was taken aback as i’ve never had any other hotel charge us for wanting to check in early. We either get told okay or was told that they would text me in an hour or two as they are still preparing rooms. We roll in the vicinity about 30 minutes before check in time after being exhausted and I asked if I would still get charged for checking in early and she said no, so i went ahead and lined up. The line was started to accumulate. The front desk is tiny and there was nothing but one person to check everyone in along with answering the phone calls. Parking was horrible. Meant for only compact cars but literally everyone they checked in had nowhere else to park and pretty much had an SUV or Truck! Now, the MOMENT I had entered the room the smell emitted from the bathroom was nothing short of horrendous. I turned the faucet on and green gunk came out from the actual drain. it was DISGUSTING to say the least especially, since we’re staying at a “beach town”. I had to use my cologne and buy actual room spray. The next day, my partner went up to front desk to ask for more towels and toilet paper along with the request of room

Was disappointed with our visit. Loved that I had a ocean view but parking was awful. The hotel guest next door took all the parking spaces and it was not monitored. No room service during our stay, Trash piled up pretty quickly. Nothing was said during the check in that they would not be coming around daily. One of our rooms had no soap. BUT the worst part was that we were informed that they were no smoking rooms yet I could smell Marijuana everywhere!!

Did not point out things to us you had to read;,Parkiing was horrible.,had to ride around parking lot several times before finding parking space. But was charging for parking per day: we were there from 4/5-4/7 and pool looked the same way. Very cloudy. When you call no one answers the phone.,wasn’t a good choice for us overall. Very dissatisfied

Overpriced, even for Myrtle Beach. Room was ok, but not stocked with any dishes or utensils even though it had a kitchen. No broom to help keep sand under control, and how is a single king bed a room that can accommodate 4? Entryways and elevator were dirty and parking was horrible. Only plus was that i had my 2 small dogs at a reasonable fee.

Only two outlets worked in the entire room. Had to move bed out to get to outlet by the bed. It's very obviously a really old hotel. Very tight parking. Noisy. Pool and hot unappealing enough that no one in my party wanted to go in it. Saw employees take a gross looking mattress out of a room. It was walking distance to the beach, lol.

Property is big and conveniently located close to the airport and right next to the beach. The breakfast is good. Our room got flooded, we would have left but couldn't find another accessible room so we stayed. They put us in another room for one night but when we returned there was still some condensation and humidity. All the pools were dirty, no maintenance done and the pool lifts were all completely broken.

I booked this hotel as it said it had an elevator as my elderly grandparents came with us. They out us in the side without an elevator. The staff were very friendly & accommodating as they got my grandparents a room on the ground floor. The rooms themselves were very dirty to the point your feet were black from the floors. The cold water did not work in our room. My grandparents had to have maintenance come to their room at 11PM because their shower wouldn’t drain. The maintenance man was very friendly when he came & fixed it within 15 minutes. There was broken glass & dirty needles in the parking lot. On top of the few to stay there, you will be charged a $20 “resort” fee per day per room. Also, a $50 “incidental” fee per day per room. For the state of this “hotel”, this was completely inappropriate. I would not recommend this hotel.

The parking was pretty bad. I seen a vehicle park there then walk to the Viking. Some woman left a small child and a suitcase in a spot so she could save it while getting her truck. Other than that we had an excellent time
