Overview

The Executive Inn & Suites Embarcadero Cove offers guests a pleasant stay with comfortable rooms and a generally positive experience. Many reviewers praise the friendly and helpful staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the quality of the breakfast. The on-site restaurant and bar also receive favourable comments. However, it's important to note that there's a $15 daily parking fee, and some guests have expressed concerns about the hotel's location and the surrounding area, which might not be suitable for everyone. Some rooms may have freeway noise, and a few guests found the shower design lacking a door, leading to water on the bathroom floor.

The nighttime clerk seemed genuinely happy to be at work when I arrived even though it was after 10 pm. The parking lot security person was visible. The other guests inside seemed at ease as did I. Room and bed where comfy. Breakfast was par for this type of hotel. My only challenge was the room TV. The volume button hardly worked and the Direct TV was down the next morning which made it impossible for me to watch the news. The other thing I disliked was the shower design with no door. It caused the bathroom floor to get wet. I've always wondered why anyone thinks that shower design is a good idea. Nonetheless, I'd stay there again on business.

We stayed there for a week! Overall very good! The shower doesnt have a curtain so our bathroom was always flooded. People were able to park on the street infront of parking lot. We got back late one night and a guy in a camper got out and started yelling at us that our head lights woke him up. I would recommend changing breakfast choices. The same things for 7 days is rough. Stay was amazing and helpful.

I think for the area it’s very beautiful and worth the price. I must admit the area it’s around isn’t the best but once you pass the bridge it’s really nice. Staff was nice at check in and make your stay comfortable. Rooms looked clean and new. I only stayed for the night as a emergency but I would stay there if I planned on going to Oakland again. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch with a couple of different snacks and food. Not too big but enough to enjoy. We had breakfast outside looking at the lovely view of water, looking towards at the city of Alameda. The only think I wasn’t so please was $17 for parking. Other hotels if they do charge (because most don’t) will charge about 5$ or 10$ max. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Helpful and friendly staff, decent restaurant and bar. Has a pool and hot tub, could be warmer. Aside from that it served its purpose for the price. Seem to safe enough for Oakland and is not associated with the executive hotel next to the airport, which is a terrible property to stay at in comparison.

The hotel itself is clean and nice, however the location was concerning. The staff at the front desk at check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, especially with the various hot offerings which are changed daily. The hotel cannot do anything about the area it is located. I do not recommend traveling over the bridge towards Oakland, especially at night but other than that, great stay!

The round table was dirty with stains on it. Location right off the freeway was great and staff were ok , but there was an altercation in the front lobby that had me feeling uneasy about staying there until my friend came and picked me up and calmed my nerves. Also I wish that it was stated on the site that you charged for parking because it just stated that you had parking. As a female I wouldn’t stay there again by myself.

This hotel is a good place to stay in the east bay. Bayfront trail accessible and an easy walk to Brooklyn Basin. Freeway access is good. My opinion; parking should be free but it’s also the cheapest deal for parking in the bay. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool on a chilly Bay Area evening! I will stay here again.

This was our first time to have to pay for parking at this property. Hoping the fee goes towards security.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely great! The staff were so nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and the view was beautiful. We also tried the food downstairs. It was delicious! Although parking was $15 per day, it was easily accessible. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.
