It was just an overnight stay to catch an early flight the next morning. We were put in an older 2 story building that looked a bit run down. Granted the room looked better on the inside. I don’t think we would ever stay at this hotel again. We would prefer to stay at an internal type building. Feels more secured.

Hotel has a bad smell of mildew and something else. Overwhelming and strong. Restaurant had only one staff trying to take care of everyone and I think cook too. Parking lot doesn't have enough handicapped parking.

Hotel wasn't too bad. They were doing some construction in the parking lot that looked pretty bad. The whole property has a 10 foot fence around it and the neighborhood is real sketchy. The gas station nearby has countless homeless and beggers. Definitely not a safe environment.

The room was excellent. The free shuttle to and from the airport was great as well. RBG bar & grill needs some work though. Bar closed at 8:30 on the Sunday I stayed and the draft beers weren’t working/weren’t available? Seemed odd. Bartender seemed more interested in her phone than anything else.

A map of the hotel would have made it easier to find our room. Otherwise the staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. We parked our car on property for the week that we were gone and really liked that the parking lot was gated with a guard posted at the front. The guards were diligent about screening people before they entered the lot.
Lastly, the location is very close to the Oakland Airport which is one of our favorites to fly from. It is convenient, easy to navigate and much less stressful than San Francisco.

Upon arrival, a security guard was at the main entrance asking if I was checking in, to which I replied with a yes, and he got my vehicle information. I parked then proceeded to check in. I put my stuff in my room then left. However, when returning a few hours later, the people next door to me were loud and seemed like they wouldn't stop. So, I called the front desk and explained the situation. I was able to switch rooms, and it was much quieter for me.
I'd definitely stay at this hotel again, because both rooms were clean and quiet (except the 1st one), they have security, ample parking and close to the freeway and airport, if you need it.
