Courtyard by Marriott Oakland Airport

We stayed at this hotel because it is close to the arena. The hotel is nice and the staff was friendly. I got in line for coffee at exactly 10am, but the barista said she couldn't take my order since they close at 10. It would have been nice to accommodate a quick coffee as there isn't anything else close by except a very dirty Dunkin Donuts with terrible service. The rooms were perfectly fine, but there was definitely noise from other rooms that woke us up. The outside is what is disturbing. The entire complex is gated luckily, but there is still a homeless encampment all along the street behind the hotel. Overall, if you need a hotel at the airport or close to the arena, it's a good choice.

This was a decent stay for a night before flying out of Oakland. The hotel was clean and very quiet, even foe being near the airport. The parking area is gated, which was reassuring.

Prepare to pay $23.00 for parking with no security. Other than that the place was fantastic.

We stayed at this hotel over the recent weekend as we were in town for a concert. Pros - -we arrived at noon due to an early flight and they were able to get us in early. Much appreciated! -We engaged with staff all over the hotel and they were all very nice and eager to assist with any issues we had -Cafe in the hotel had decent food and the prices were reasonable -The area in general is a dump, but the grounds inside the fenced in grounds are pretty nice and enjoyable to relax in. I never felt unsafe. -Complimentary waters in the room (my last hotel charged us so this was a nice item) -Coffee and Tea available in the lobby once the cafe closes at 10am Cons - -Not able to connect your phone to watch Youtube or Netflix which is a feature I really like in some other hotels. Only cable channels were available -The Pool was VERY cold. I would have liked it to be somewhat heated to be enjoyable. -Everytime I went outside people were smoking on grounds and near the pool/firepit. -The AC never got really cold. It always felt a bit humid. -3 of the ice machines were not working.

Checked in late and checked out early two days later. Front desk staff was extremely nice. They called me a Lyft to the airport. I felt safe as a solo female.

I really liked this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had the king bed with sofa. Altho it looks larger in the photo it is a nice sized room. Very nice to have a comfy sitting area. Black out shades. I was close to the elevator and the room was still quiet. Better than most Oakland airport hotels.

Great hotel! It’s very hard to find good customer service these days but every employee I encounter was so friendly and helpful. It’s very close to the airport. This hotel is very clean and has a lot to offer.

The shuttle via Lyft was fine but it wasn’t made clear before arriving, so traveling with students was tricky because we had to send several of them in Lyfts without an adult.

The hotel its self is fine, the area sucks buts it’s convenient to the airport. Do not eat at the grill, the food is over priced and horrible

Nice hotel. The fresh water in the lobby was a bonus when arriving after traveling. Parking was easy and safe. Close to Oakland airport. The bed was cozy. Wish the pool would have been open.
