Extended Stay America Select Suites - Orlando - Sanford - Airport

The room itself was clean just needs updating. Hotel is close the airport which is why we booked there. Staff was friendly.

Convenient access to airport. Quiet.

Bad from start. Walked in checkin area smelled of pot. Then was told key card system didn’t work, got to room and went to check beds and had live roach on bed, room smells like mold, loose wiring on floor and then dead roaches on floor. I immediately told front desk guy he was very polite and refunded me right away and i left. This place needs a lot of work should only be used for monthly rentals never for a traveler. I do however appreciate that they refunded me with no hassle.

I feel this hotel should be removed from Hotels.com. The hotel was nasty. Old, broken down hotel. Smelt highly of cigarettes at entrance. After hours check in phone didn't work. Fortunately the after hours person was there otherwise I wouldn't have been able to check in. The kitchenette was disgusting. Old delapitated stop top, broken pieces hanging, bathroom not clean, cigarette burns on the tub. Missing toilet paper holder. The flooring wasn't clean, my bare feet had to be washed after briefly walkng around. Old electrical outlets, etc. I really wish I could get my money back. It was that gross! Smelt "dank" in my room as well. Hallway carpets stained and disgusting.

Made said if I tip her she would change out my bath towels and hallway never get vacuumed and trash all over parking lot

Good because closed to airport, but very noisy and could be cleaner. A lot better than Home-N-Courts

Stay away, rough area, rough building, shady people in parking lot and they asked for my wife’s ID, I thought they were going to ask for my baby’s birth certificate!!! Just turned around and left, they won’t reimburse me my money back. If you’re traveling with family, pay a little bit more and stay at a safe and decent hotel.

The distance from the SFB airport was convenient. But the parking lot felt unsafe, a lot of sketchy/creepy people outside just wandering around the parking lot but not going inside. The hotel reeked of weed and was super dirty. Everything was sticky and our AC had nasty brown sticky liquid on it. I would not stay here again.

I have never left a negative review in over 15 years of traveling both business and pleasure, but this experience was unfortunately my worst one ever. No shower curtain. No soaps, shampoos, nothing. Stained sheets and woke up to turn on the light with floor creeping with cockroaches among other critters I prefer not to mention. Paint drips all the way down bathroom door. Huge group of cobwebs in middle of ceiling in main room. I do have photos of all items listed here and more. Police cars were patroling or sitting area parking lot. I mistakenly just chose a close airport hotel not remembering all of these possibilities. A hotel my kids and I will never foget. :(
