WoodSpring Suites Sanford North I-4 Orlando Area

My wife and I arrived after midnight and there was no one at the front desk. We were tired from the flight and we just wanted to go to sleep, but we wait one hour at the reception where nobody was there until finally someone show up . We were so disappointed and I was about to walk out when someone came in and said “ohh i was out for 15 minutes “ which it was a lie I took a video when i came in and I took a video when we’re leaving. It was almost 55 minutes.

Front desk staff was nice and friendly. Our hotel room needed serious cleaning. Shower door track, counter surfaces, floors were really bad. Bought cleaning wipes to clean our room. Only amenities were small bars of soap. For coffee my husband went next door to the Wawa gas station. People hanging around hotel front door. Not sure if they were staying there or not. Elevator out of order. By the looks of the stairwell, the elevator hasn’t worked for a while. I’ve worked in travel for over 20 years. This is the worst place I’ve stayed.

Well, I thought for being in a really nice part of town that this was just going to be a cheap nice stop off the interstate. Upon arrival expect to see questionable looking people in the parking lot charging their phone on the outside of the building . The hotel staff was more interested in playing on her phone, and I found myself just standing there in silence wondering what was going on while trying to check in. She did help with a request I needed to make for switching rooms so I did appreciate that. Guests were a little rowdy constantly going in and out and it was a little loud I had to turn on the TV. They were out of cups, so I couldn’t even get a cup of coffee in the morning. One good thing is the room was clean and it was well equipped with what it needed. Bed wasn’t bad or uncomfortable. It was ok for the price.

room has roaches, bought my own roach spray, still find some daily, been here for a week waiting on new house to be finished, back parking lot after dark is a party, at least 25 people last night, dope in the air, elevator broke for days now, no room service as of yet, desk girls very nice and friendly though.. many dogs barking all hours

The room was nice but it needs a coffee pot. I had to be at the airport before 6 AM. The hotel only offers coffee in the lobby from 6-10AM.

Had hard time doing this review. I dont like giving bad reviews. I know there are real people that often work hard at these places. It always comes down to the management There was no single thing glaringly wrong, but i gave it 2 stars overall because generally (overall) it is not a good stay experience. My wife and i were getting some major renovation done on our home so we decided to stay here because the room had a small stove & refrigerator, the price was reasonable, and it was only 10 minutes away from our house. Since i live in Sanford, i knew this property was new.... only built a few years ago. I was expecting it to look newer\better inside than it did. The main takeaway from this place is that there are shockingly a lot of people actually living in this hotel....they arent just staying for a week or month...they live there with crying kids, dogs etc. The area around the hotel has a lot of car\truck traffic and you can clearly hear the noise in the rooms, especially at night. The carpet in the hallways between the rooms was stained in a lot of places. The floors in the room were not cleaned well and the cleaning staff will not clean your room until you move out. You are responsible for taking your garbage out to the dumpster in the back parking lot. The place basically has a low rent feel and clientele. The front desk staff was friendly enough but somewhat unprofessional. Next time i will spend more money and stay somewhere better.

I am familiar with the area and I know this hotel opened maybe about 2 years ago, so I gave them a try since my business was in the area. My check in was ok, but when I got to my room and opened the door, I seen something fall, I looked down and it was a roach, I turned the light on and literally seen hundreds of roaches crawling everywhere, even on the beds. When I say hundreds I am not exaggerating, there were literally hundreds, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I left immediately, the front counter clerk didn’t seem surprised of my complaint, she only stated they had no more rooms available, however I only seen a max of about 25 cars in parking lot. Stay away

The pilot knew to fly

Obviously an extended stay location. People hanging out in halls and stairwells. Floors and carpets dirty in common areas. No breakfast option. Adequate parking available and close to restaurants and fast food.
