Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Airport

Our family recently stayed at this hotel in Orlando before our flight out to Washington State. Traveling with young kids (4-year-old twins and a 2-year-old), we needed a comfortable, clean place to rest for the night. Unfortunately, what we encountered was quite the opposite. We booked two rooms, and we stayed in Room 212. From the moment we stepped in, it was evident that this room was not up to the standard you’d expect from any reputable hotel. The extent of water damage and mold in Room 212 is beyond words. There were visible water stains across various surfaces and unmistakable signs of mold growth throughout the room. It’s honestly shocking that a room in this condition would be let out to anyone, much less a family with young children. Given the circumstances and our tight travel plans, we stayed out of necessity and didn’t voice complaints at the time. However, for the safety and comfort of future guests, it’s critical that this feedback reaches both the hotel management and potential customers. Mold and water damage are serious issues, and addressing these should be a priority. It’s disappointing that basic upkeep was overlooked, as it left a lasting negative impression on our entire stay. Until these issues are resolved, I can’t recommend this hotel, especially for families with young children or anyone concerned about health and cleanliness.

Good Location close to the airport. A little shabby in the hall ways but the room was in great shape. Cleaning starts on the 3rd day and then every other. Parking is 15 dollars a day The breakfast is adequate but for long stays a bit boring. The employees are nice and very helpful. They do have a shuttle that will take you to restaurants and pick you up. The shuttle runs 24/7 to the airport

I booked this hotel months in advance and specifically needed a 2 bedroom suite because we had two families traveling together. Upon arrival we were given 2 separate rooms, which we appreciated but did not want. The property seems outdated or like it was either a conversion of another property similar to a Red Roof Inn. Rooms were not really all that clean. Overall the two rooms we had were on the 5th floor and right next to each other, it was quiet and it served its purpose for what we needed for a quick overnight.

We are really satisfied with our stay. The overall service is great. Convenient location not far from the airport and not forgetting the breakfast and the shuttle service. M

We booked this property for 2 nights due to our flight cancellation. It’s very convenient to the airport,about less than 10 minutes.Check in went smoothly as we didn’t take too long to get our room. The Front Desk staff is professional. The kitchen is fully equipped but I wish there was an oven in the one bedroom suite. The breakfast was ok but lacking and I feel they should have more options. The pool and pool area was nice and relaxing. It’s convenient for a quick stay but I wouldn’t book it for a vacation. Overall I recommend it for a quick stay.

Was a quick one night stay as we were flying out of Orlando early the next morning. When we got to the hotel we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which was really nice. Lots of room and the beds were so comfortable! Wish we could have enjoyed that room a little longer.

We only stayed one night due to our flight being canceled but this hotel was a good choice. The young man that checked us in (Verna) was so polite and hospitable. We will definitely be back this summer with our children.

The staff at this property oversold beyond their capacity. And with 4 people in line at the desk. They gave rooms to the first 3. But the fourth was a 22 year old girl traveling alone. She had a reservation that was paid for in advance. They sent her WALKING out in the street to find another hotel at 11:00 PM in a large city!

The room was very clean and spacious. I loved that the floor is all wood. Easy access to the room from front and back elevator. Breakfast was various selection. The pool and jacuzzi was a bonus. Pretty quiet besides the planes every once and awhile. Easy access to all the shopping. Only minus is the parking fee $$. Wish wasn’t so much. Overall a great place!! Would stay here if I’m in town.
