I loved my stay at the Candlewood in Pensacola! Excellent staff and clean, comfortable room. The only thing is that there are a ton of homeless people just kind of hanging out right in front of the hotel (just off of the hotel’s actual property right outside the parking lot) and it is a little unnerving, but this is not the hotel’s fault. Overall I liked the area, very convenient to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk service was top notch. Staff was very friendly! Convenient area but limited parking. Room could have been cleaner but wasn’t terrible. I would recommend.

The hotel was not bad overall. We traveled with our fur family member and the hotel welcomed him. The room itself was ok. The carpet had a few stains, but nothing too major. My issue, which is huge for me, is the bathroom. The light switch had a “chocolate” looking smudge that obviously hadn’t been cleaned by housekeeping. The bathroom walls were filthy with dirt and stains. The bathroom is a very important factor for me, which is the reason for my not so great rating. I didn’t hate the place, i just wish the bathroom didn’t creep me out.

For business travel this place is just ok. The front desk isnt too friendly or helpful. If you arent an IHG member, they treat you like a second class citizen. The only clean the room once per week. You have to go to the desk to bring your old towels for new. You have to ask and pick up more TP or kleenex. They are stingy with the TP also. There are some shady characters wandering the neighborhood and pan handlers on the main corner. The hotel looks the other way and has some prostitutes staying with the nightly visitors. Lock your doors and dont leave valuables in your car.

I love this hotel, this is gonna be my go to hotel when traveling I love that it has a mini kitchen area, and everything it's kind of like a little studio apartment.

The property and room were fine. However, the curtains in the room do not close and the room faces a parking lot and shopping center. There was no way to block the light from the street lights so we had a hard time sleeping since the curtains that are over the windows are sheer.
