Rest and Relax Inn

I have never been to a hotel were majority of the things you need was Easy and convenient to the Interstate, Easy parking, staff and guest was friendly, rooms was clean, walkable to places, quiet and was able to relax without people walking all night, car horn blowing and trash cans running over with trash falling on the ground. I am making plans now to come back again. One thing I did not like is the Ice Machine needs to be replace. Not sure if it worked, it just looked to rusty for me. Just my opinion. Most of all, I was well rested after leaving Rest and Relax Inn. The maintenance guy Mr. HARVEY made our stay relaxing by changing one of the room locks on the door for us with no question ask. Mr. HARVEY was extremely friendly and the 3 days we were there he always said Good Morning anything you need, is everything ok. Well Done Mr. HARVEY. We will visit again soon.

The person In the morning was very impolite. Then they tried to charge me again saying my card was declined and I have proof that they took it out of my account. When I went to ask about things the girl was rude. Won't be going back. As we went to leave there was cops on the parking lot. It did not make me feel safe there at all.

There were people working there that were hanging out with and talking to homeless people who had taken up residence in the parking lot and i didnt feel safe going to my room. There were couples loudly fighting. My room lost power to half of it the last day of my stay. I never felt less safe at a hotel.

Love the bathroom in our room! Floors are very nice, and the sunshade is so adorable with its Hawaiian beach scene. Pool area is nice. The area around is a lot of shopping mall type stores, large parking lots. You have to meander through a lot of it to get to the hotel parking lot. The area makes me a little jumpy.

Do not take your family here, starting out you turn into the entrance lot and there is stacks of pallets sitting aside on the lawn, and they have been there awhile, the parking lot probably has never been street swept or power washed and there are cigarette butts everywhere. The service was fine, but right off the bat there is a sharpie note on the door stating construction in progress, front entrance has been “remodeled” bit it’s pretty shoddy work so don’t believe the inviting photos for the hotel listing. I scoped out the room before bringing the family in, the outside access rooms have the room number written on the windows with a dry erase marker. The concrete steps are greasy and dirty, cigarette butts everywhere. The only thing that was actually pleasant was the outdoor pool area and patio. There are unusual tenants darting around at any time at night. I woke up to some scratching sound next to my bed in the wall only to find out a large critter (rat) somehow got one of our ChipsAhoy cookies and was trying to pull it thru a small 1 1/2” hole I found in the wall corner. I wish I could attach a picture of what I saw. Showed picture to cleaning staff and front desk and they were not phased. I just didn’t tell the wife and kiddos that ordeal I could go on and on. If you are a single person and just need a bed and ignore the rest, stay in your room, and sleep. The bed were surprisingly comfortable. Ignore all the other rooms, they are gutted and a mess..

Roaches in the room and bath. We saw 4 after we turned the light of and had just the tv on. That area is less than desirable. It’s like an abandoned shopping center next door, and this in is not complete on his renovations. My daughters didn’t feel safe there. They were construction workers hanging out in the parking lot when we drove up and they stayed until dark. I believe they were also renting rooms. The whole thing was just kind of sketchy. The staff was nice. The room was renovated well the tub is a nice size. Online I thought I was booking a room at quality Inn at a cheaper price and my confirmation had quality inn, but this was not the room I had started scheduling online. The cheaper price was a whole different in , very deceiving, had i opted for the refund when scheduling I definitely would not have stayed there. It was just me and my two girls. The guest that I did see had a look of fear on their face as they were bringing their bags out, and we actually commented to one another how sketchy it seemed, and we had scheduled the online.

Room needs updating. Clock broken. Close to the airport.

Ladies traveling alone or even in a group of ladies - don’t stay here! I will never stay in this location again. Yes they are in a remodel and that was fine. The pictures that they have posted on the site are very deceiving. We registered 3 adults staying in the room, but they would only allow 2 sets of towels in the room at a time! The beds although the mattresses were fine - the actual frames and support of the beds were not. They clunked like kicking an aluminum trash can anytime anyone over 100 lbs moved on them. The whole situation was frustrating and I got complained on for being rude - I was not intentionally rude - I was frustrated and upset. I did apologize for coming off as rude. I truly regret booking this hotel and spending money there - next time I need a place - I will be going with a place that I can have privacy.

Very unsafe! My baby who just learned to walk almost stepped on a razor blade near the pool and nobody cares, there’s rusty nails all over in the gated pool area, there’s nails all over the parking lot from a big pile of rotten wood that keeps growing, we checked in it smelled and there were dry pee puddles all in the bathroom i had to buy cleaners and clean it myself because I didn’t trust their cleanliness after seeing that and I couldn’t get my money back. The pool is not clean And there cigarette butts everywhere. It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen at every corner of this awful hotel avoid at all costs!
