From check in to check out, the customer service was A+. The hotel is very nice. The food at the restaurant is delicious. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. When it was time to take the shuttle to the airport, the shuttle was inoperable. A taxi was made available, free of charge, by the hotel. Was not able to take in all of the amenities, but will definitely stay here again so that I can. This is one of my best stays with Hilton.

Close to airport-great shuttle service! Front desk girl was very nice and helpful. Dinner staff was late opening for service. I went next door to the Waffle House.

This was a wonderful experience. Shuttle to and from airport was on time, quick and drivers were very nice. Lobby staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was worth the cost and the server was pleasant and efficient. Room was large, clean, great shower head and bed was very comfortable. A all the way!

We have stayed at this hotel prior and enjoy the price, the very large room and comfort. We simply use this hotel as a one night stay prior to a flight out early the next morning. It's always a restful and satisfying experience. We like the Waffle House adjacent for an easy meal requiring only a short walk across the parking lot. Gas stations are also close by for rental car fill up prior to drop off.

We liked our room. However, we drove to the wrong Hilton Garden Inn (Van Buren). I didn't realize that there was more than one with the same name. There should be some kind of warning. I must admit that I didn't look at the address. But to have two Hilton Garden Inn close to the airport cane be confusing. Then as we drove to the other hotel, it was confusing because we had to drive into the entrance of the Holiday Inn Express. My wife said, "This is the Holiday Inn Express". Then we saw the Hilton Garden Inn next to it. When we checked in, there was only one person at the front desk. We had to wait as she was on the phone. When she got to us, she kept receiving phone calls and putting people on hold. We checked into our room which was fine. Then we had to return our rental car. We were given the instructions. When we waited for the pick up van, it was confusing. There was pick up from the other Hilton Garden Inn. We were just told that there would be a white van to pick us up and the driver's name would be Susie. The other van was also white. Our van did arrive but it had Holiday Inn Express written on it. So we didn't think it was our van. Then a lady asked us if we were with the "Hilton". I said "no" because there were other Hilton hotels in the area. She should have asked, "Are you with Hilton Garden Inn on Ellsworth?" Finally, my wife asked her, "Are you Susie?" She said, "No, but my driver's name is Susie." Hooray! We found our van!

Convenient to the airport, decent rooms, AC could be better (room reached 76 degrees during peak outside temp of 103). Main issue was the front desk morning staff. The lone front desk staff would not check folks in before 3pm unless you paid $50 to check in early (supposedly no rooms would be ready before 3pm unless you paid). I arrived around noon and was prepared to wait a while if need be… but had never heard a hard rule about no one getting into rooms before 3pm unless you paid. I nicely settled into the lobby to wait/do work in my phone. One guest got angry and called corporate and eventually was promised his and his friends rooms would be ready by 1pm (it was ~1215), without extra charge. Magically, when the afternoon staff came on duty around 2pm, anyone coming in was immediately checked into rooms with no issues/delays. The morning front desk person had clocked out without saying a word to the folks scattered around the lobby and elsewhere on the property (4-6 rooms worth of people) - all waiting until 3pm to check in. Within 10 mins of her departure (and witnessing new folks come in and immediately getting into their rooms), the very courteous afternoon staff was checking all folks into rooms. Waiting in the lobby for ~2 hrs was not a hardship, but it was not good customer service (I have worked at the front desk of hotels myself and never would have kept folks out of clean/ready rooms). Afternoon front desk staff was great, professional, courteous, etc.

Nice motel. Allow for airport parking for a minimal fee. TV didn't work and when we called they said we could only switch rooms. Didnt feel like moving 4 of us to another room. Overall will stay at this location if flying out of Phoenix.
