Sonesta ES Suites Providence - Airport

Very convenient to airport, quiet, nice.

We reserved a room and told them we had a late flight in, so we would be arriving late, when we got there they had rented our room out!

It’s super close to the airport, which is convenient and the front desk staff was very friendly upon check in. Our room is very clean with all the amenities.

Not a lot of parking for the amount of people that stay here, but it’s clean and quiet and the staff is so nice, and delivery drivers seem to know it well which is nice too

The room was fair for the price, people obviously live there as well so parking can be a bit frustrating. There was no notification of the 250 00 hold on your card anywhere before reservation. The towels were limited and the shampoo bottles and conditioner were mostly used and not replaced.

My son and I loved our two story room. It was a great property. I wish there was more around the airport, as we flew in late and there was no food open.

This property is not as represented on the internet. It says that it has a hotel shuttle and it doesn't. It has a pool area with hot tub but doesn't work. Property is very scary and isolated for someone traveling alone. I would equate it with renting an old outdated apartment in a bad neighborhood. Not recommended.

Complex was clean and room was nice. There was a lot of late night parties and loud music coming from peoples cars sitting in the parking lot until after midnight each night.

I traveled to RI with my family (2 adult's 2 kids) and stayed for 3 days 2 nights April 2023. Upon arrival the first thing noticed was the two sliding automatic doors to enter the hotel seemed broken and not opening correctly. It required a manual push to open. There was no one at the front desk, but after a few mins she the. came from the back office. She was welcoming and asissted us with check in. We proceeded to our 2 floor suite. The suite was big and spacious and indicated on the descrition. The complete downfall was while in our room after a few mins on the first day, we were welcomed with several live roaches in our room. 4 in the kitchen area and one in the downstairs bedroom. We became so uncomfortable, that we decided not to bring our food into the room and instead left it in our car. We requested to speak to a manager to discuss further but the manager was not onsite. Front desk staff was apologetic about the occurrence and notified management right away. There was not an equivalent room that night to switched to, and we were offered a smaller room for the night to then switch to an equivalent size room the following day. It would me us moving twice. We decided to remain in the room for that night and spoke to front desk staff the following morning, who followed up and expidited for an equivilant room to be cleaned for us to move to. We were notified once the room was ready and switched rooms. We still didnt feel comfortable bringing food into the new room.

Booked this place specifically because of the hot tub, and even spoke with the front desk the morning of our stay, but when we arrived that afternoon, we were informed the hot tub had no heat. (The young lady at the front desk even admitted that it had been like this prior to our morning phone call.) This place has turned into "housing" now, with families apparently living there. Guests parking in the fire lane the entire night, making it nearly impossible to navigate into parking spaces. Room smelled musty, and we ended up leaving by midnight to stay somewhere else. We had requested to speak with a manager, but we never received a call. Do yourslef a favor and compare this place with hotels that are HALF the price, because you can certainly find better at the rate this place is demanding. Scale of 1 to 10??? I'd give ot 2 fingers up...I'll let your imagination run wild on which 2 I'm holding up.
