Gordon on security went above and beyond. There is smoking in the building and the parking lot is far. But overall a wonderful experience. Would stay there again.

Stayed at the GSR for two nights. Second evening at 7:00 pm the power went out in the whole hotel. We had to walk down 27 flights of stairs with emergency lighting, then had to leave the hotel through the back doors into the rain. Went back in to find out what is going on. All the slot machines were working fine, elevators and everything else had no power. They put the safety and wellbeing of their guests BELOW the slot machines. We were locked out of our room for several hours. When I complained the next day at checkout they insisted that I pay full price for the room in a very snotty manner. Will never stay there again. NOT SAVE. And the pillows are lumpy too by the way.

It took an hour to get an elevator at times, your room key tells you what elevator to get into after you scan it and you can’t get off on any other floor. Your friends can’t come to your floor either! it was hot August nights week and packed. I heard some people where suck on their floor the elevator never came they finally gave up and stayed in there room. I walked down 37 flights one night. It was terrible

A/C wasnt working. Had to transfer rooms which was an inconvenience because we had our family next door. Then we couldnt get the same room because the room would be dusty from fixing A/C. New room was a but smelly and the safe didnt work at all.

Check in could be more efficient but overall great stay. Free parking and good rate

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The room was okay—nothing special, but it served its purpose. Refrigerator is available but microwave is extra charge. The highlight was the variety of activities available for families, including an arcade, bowling, and a cinema, which kept everyone entertained. The pool was decent but not fancy. Also kept very cold. All seating was set in the sun, and if you wanted any shade, you had to pay extra for an umbrella or a cabana. Mo extra charge for parking or valet. Overall, it’s a good spot for family fun, but there are areas where the experience could be improved.

Very clean and comfortable! There’s an arcade, a movie theatre, a bowling alley, and I especially loved that there was an adults only pool besides the family pool for those of us not traveling with kids! All the food in the various restaurants was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

The only bright spot was there was a very nice young man taking a cart with luggage from one of the valet cars and saw that I had a lot of luggage and offered to get me a cart even though I wasn’t using the valet. It was very inconvenient that those not using the valet were not allowed a cart. One person in our party had to go from the parking lot to their room three times. Very inconvenient. There were so many things we didn’t like. Was told there was a refrigerator in the room but the customer service person didn’t bother to mention that it was a wine fridge and couldn’t put food in it. No microwave. No wash rags. Ice machine wasn’t working. Put a sign out to clean our room. It was totally ignored and we asked housekeeping basically said the sign means nothing. Then why was it in our room. Our window looked out on the pool, do they ever clean it. From our view the pool and the hot tubs looked disgusting. The only other good things were the restaurants. Our food from Chickie’s and Pete and Round Table were good.

Great stay for a layover at Reno Tahoe airport. Lots of good dining options and amusements for the kids.

We always stay at GSR when visiting with friends from NV, it offers so much for families, or adults within the resort, and the kids stay busy, plus there’s a local water park, about 10 minutes away, which makes for fun on hot days. My only problem was our initial room smelled of cigarettes & for someone who suffers from chronic migraine, I had to ask for another room to be transferred to, and that was not a problem, the room did not smell at all, and I was extremely Thankful for it. We will continue to stay at GSR for all of the amenities and services it offers!
