Nugget Casino Resort

The stay itself was ok. Parking is so far from the hotel, water in the shower wasn’t hot at all, called the front desk because I traveled with a toddler and needed to heat up food, but no microwave for rooms or on property

Booked it because they had airport transportation, but transportation times were a little limited. I still had to get an Uber.

I don't know what to say about the valet service. We've stayed at the Nugget the past 3 weeks. And everytime had some kind of problem with the valet. We arrived about 12:00 p.m. and left for dinner at 4:30 p.m. and my truck was still sitting in the same spot as we arrived. I had to pay $10 to get my truck back, when they didn't even park it. They should have payed me for parking my own truck. And the girl at the desk made the attendant run all the way up front, to bring me my keys when she could of just have them to me. Valet service at the Nugget is horrid.

Overall a great stay again at the Nugget. Parking is generally easy to find and close by. On certain days then they host concerts it can be a little difficult to find parking. The hotel building looks like they got a nice fresh coat of paint. Checking in was easy as I love using their self check in kiosks. Very easy to use and helps get you into your room much faster. I had requested a room away from other rooms that were occupied, I’ve had situations at this property where the rooms next to mine are partying all night. They made my request happen and had two great nights of sleep. Although we did request a non smoking room the room originally did have a slight smoke scent to it. I did let them know and the front desk addressed it and took care of that. Other than that everything was great. They have a very nice powerful shower head. Comfortable beds and pillows. And a refrigerator in the room. The pool area was good, we way early so not too many people were there. There area plenty of places to eat there at the nugget and we have dined there before but on this visit we didn’t get around to eat there. Everyone of the staff we encountered was very nice and helpful and made things pleasant. Only complaint was the kids arcade had strange hours of operation. Our kids didn’t get to play there. It seems to open late and close early. Very reasonably priced rooms and good property to get away and enjoy the Reno Sparks area.

Had room availability for same day. Property clean and staff courteous. Near airport, some noise but not extreme. We were very happy with our stay and plan to return.

I have stayed here many times. It is a great price and staff is very friendly. I have ate at Rosie's Cafe dinning inn and getting take out the food is always great. I have also ate at Anthony's and the food was superb. I love being able to grab a coffee at the Starbucks when I am headed out for the day. The only thing I would change is making the doora from the parking lot to the elevator and skyway automatic. They are hard to open when your hands are full of luggage.

We had late check in as we had made our reservations from the car through expedia, which was very convenient. But when we got there, the front desk was so slow we had to use the kiosk to check in and I had a lot of questions which could not be answered. Such as, where exactly is our room? There are two towers and if you don't know where you are going it can be very confusing .This being said, I found the kiosk very convenient and the fact that it could print out your room keys was an added Plus! The description of our room had said Mountain view, but we had a view of the parking lot. Of course you have a mountain view, there are mountains all around the area. The room was very nice and clean and the beds comfortable. As an older person, I found it very inconvenient to have a parking garage at one end of the location of the two towers so that we had to walk all the way through the property to get to the other tower.

The parking garage elevators did not open well and it was dirty. The room's location was near the freeway, so of course it was pretty noisy. The room rate was more reasonable then others I had checked into. Staff was pleasant.

The room was spacious clean and comfortable. There are lots of places to eat in and around the hotel. Easy and convenient self parking.

As others have stated the rooms are dated and due for a upgrage but for the price you get exactly what you would expect. The rooms were clean, staff friendly & helpful, slots loose, drinks strong & the valet parking was wonderful.
