Overview

The Ramada by Wyndham Reno Hotel and Casino offers budget-friendly accommodation, with some guests finding it convenient for its proximity to certain venues. However, reviews overwhelmingly highlight significant concerns about the hotel's condition, cleanliness, and the safety of its surrounding area. Many guests report issues with the cleanliness of rooms, outdated facilities, and a parking lot frequented by homeless individuals and those engaging in illicit activities. While some staff members receive positive feedback for their friendliness and helpfulness, the negative experiences related to the hotel's upkeep and surrounding environment significantly outweigh the positive aspects.

Super friendly desk clerk and security guard, not just with me, but with other guests as well. The hotel was cheap and the decor looks well worn. The mattress was a bit thin, but there were plenty of pillows. Lots of security and bright lights in the casino parking lots - this is good because there appear to be a lot of vagrants around. First time traveling with my cat - not an issue at all.

My stay was not good mainly because of Hotels.com farmed out my reservation to Hotelbed.com and they refused to transfer the payment to Ramada Reno. And then Ramada Reno was going to cancel my reservation if I didn't pay for the room again. I did and 3 hours of phone calls to Hotelbeds and Hotel.com to get it all straighten out.

This is a terrible hotel run by very nice staff. It's cheap and pet friendly - except the pet area is gravel full of poop, dirty and awful. The place is run down and attached to a derelict casino filed with desperate people. There is security in the lobby, cops outside, and 24/7 security in the parking lot because it's absolutely necessary. Every staff member was helpful and friendly. We will never stay there again and rushed out at the crank of dawn. If pay $100/ nitgh more to stay someplace else. (Ps, nothing to eat there or at the casino, cash only, a few crappy juices and terrible snacks at front desk)

We needed a reasonable place to stay, that is why we chose this property. The room was fine, getting worn, but fine. The patrons are all looking for a reasonable place to stay. The people in the parking lot are sketchy but there is 24 hour patrol on a golf cart and that keeps people away from your car, for the most part. So, it was worth the price, no resort fee, free parking....

Worst hotel bed I've ever slept on. It was similar less than three inches thick and hard as can be. Couldn't hardly sleep on it at all and woke up several times with back pain. I don't have back issues and my back was sore like I've never felt before. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were previously used and almost empty. There was also homeless crazies wondering around the parking lot and sleeping near the drop-off spot. Maybe worth it for $50 or less, but the motel 6 around the corner was a better experience my last time in Reno for half the cost.

The attendant was pleasant but the hotel is gross. It’s in a rough area and there were homeless people all over the parking lot. The building was shabby and the bed was very uncomfortable.

They put us on the 3rd floor because we were traveling with pets. The entire floor and room smelled of pet urine. The room carpet was filthy and the fridge was filled with dog hair. Not in the best location either.

The hotel was so dirty and sketchy with a parking lot full of homeless and drugged out people. The security guard in the parking lot actually asked us to park in the back where it was very poorly lit and signs posted that damage and loss was not covered. I actually checked in to get my room key so I could use the bathroom in the lobby and then I left. I did not stay the night because of how bad the area was

The hotel itself was good. Nothing special, nothing terrible. The area around the hotel (and the parking lot) was sketchy.
