Good hotel - the area it’s in was actually a brilliant place to stay with nice walks along the coast. There are lots of nearby food options and a great breakfast place nearby (fig tree cafe) and there’s a big food market - liberty market not too far away. Lot of parking, good self serve washing machines / dryers, friendly staff, nice area. It’s an Uber ride to most places in San Diego but San Diego is so stretched out that it didn’t matter. Felt really safe around the hotel compared to downtown. Pool area was a bit random - wasn’t sure if anyone could use the pool from outwith the hotel although we didn’t actually have any issues. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Wonderful guest service. They were able to check us in early. Free shuttle to the airport! Hot tub was fantastic and Hot!! Rooms were large amd very comfortable beds.

Best place to watch the 4th of July fireworks! Loved how close it is to dining options and the SD Bay for fun water activities. Most appreciated the friendly and professional staff. My only suggestion is to provide valet parking for their guests. It was very difficult to find parking on July 4th.

No complaints. Plenty of parking. The breakfast from the restaurant was decent. Decent views and the pool was good to the kids standards.

This place was clean, safe, me & the kids love the pool area. Its convenient & clean. i like the fact that it has a gym & a small market area inside & it has a bar as well. Staff seems friendly. parking is no issue. We wont mind coming back again for a staycation.

I don't know how this hotel got a 9.2 rating. The hallway carpets are stained and smelt musty. The rooms are small and lack even the basic toiletry amenities. No shower cap and towels were worn out which do not match the Marriott's standard. The only perk it has is the closest proximity to the airport.
