Recently refurbished and beautifully done. Staff, amenities and breakfast were all outstanding. Only downside was having to pay for parking.

What a fun place to stay! We walked from the airport and did without a car (and SD traffic!!) with our 4 young kids and it was great at this location. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back! We’ve travelled to SD many times before and this was a TOP stay for family!

The location is great, easy to get to everything we wanted to do in the San Diego area. The room was really nice - and freshly updated. Parking was expensive. The hotel is still undergoing construction which I didn't know about until after booking. It was a little bit of hassle at times - slow busy elevators, lack of access to stairs, laundry facilities out of order, noise, messes, parking area congestions. Overall it wouldn't stop me from choosing this hotel again.

Was clean. Near the airport so could hear all the planes but it didn’t bother us. Breakfast was “free” but it wasn’t good. Room was nice!

This place exceeding all our expectations!!!! From the warm welcome and at ease check in it was all marvelous from there! The pictures do not do justice!!!! It is so spacious and plenty of room for all my family and our dog!!! There are plenty of places within walking distance to eat and walk. Plenty of open parking! This is a must stay place!!!!!

We were upset that we had to pay for parking with a whole lot available. Another thing, is that we had trouble with the outlet by the sink and the water not going down in the sink. A maintenance worker came to fix the outlet and tested it with the hairdryer but once I also plugged in my curling iron, it wouldn't work. This is not up to code. What made it worse, was the guy was sarcastic and rude. They comped our parking for the inconvience.

We always stay at homewood suites. But there was no notice of construction upon booking. Only once you checked in they let you know. Having a 3 year old and 6 month old nap time was difficult. Luckily they switched us to a lower room. Other thing was the fire alarm went off randomly and woke up the kids later in the evening. Also having to pay $24 a night for parking is crazy! Looking for a new place to visit next time we’re in San Diego.
