Hotel Duval, Autograph Collection

The property was old but charming. My room when I walked in had a terrible odor. That said, as beautiful as the room was the odor was pungent. Not mold but pungent. The staff offered air freshener to mask the odor. I felt it was causing a subtle allergic reaction but my flight was early and no other room was available.

The first room we got had a very strong animal odor luckily the staff was extremely nice and got us moved to another room also the parking situation was very inconvenient the lobby was beautiful..I would recommend someone to stay there…

Property was nice and staff was exceptional. I would recommend adding a parking lot for the customers. I would also recommend upgrading the rooms as it was dated and worn along with being dusty.

Upon entering my room, I was hit with the smell of mold. It actually smelled like cat urine as well. I immediately called the front desk to tell them and request a different room. They had nothing available. They offered to send a maintenance man who came up and sprayed a room freshener. I called around for a different hotel and everything was booked solid. My clothes were damp in the morning, bedding was damp and carpet. I spoke to the front desk person and requested a different room and she said she would check if anything else was available. I came back to the hotel several hours later and was told that management went into my room and approved a room change. I moved all my things and went to the new room. Again, very moldy smell without the cat urine smell. Their air conditioning units need to be changed, carpet ripped up and flooring installed. I won’t be back. Valet parking only at 37 dollars per night. The restaurant on site is extremely pricey and not worth it.

The hotel price gouges on everything from only valet parking which is $42 including tax and your only option if you drive to breakfast which is also $40 for a basic anything.

Room was old with noisy old fashioned wall air conditioner . Bathroom was the tiniest Bathroom I’ve ever seen in a supposedly nice Hotel . Everything was overpriced. Had a Burger,Fries and a horrible red wine. Cost $42.00 at the onsite Shula’s Steak House. Had a glass of white wine at the Rooftop Bar. Cost $24.00. A regular breakfast no frills was $21.00. There’s no convenient off site parking so I had to use the Valet parking that was $37.00 per night. The low light of my stay is when they sent me messages on my phone and constantly reminded me to tip the valet attendant $7 or $8 dollars each time they had to take couple minutes walk to retrieve my vehicle 🚗. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and helpful. I do not recommend this Hotel.

We absolutely loved staying at this property! We were in Tallahassee for a wedding. The staff was so helpful and friendly , the rooms were super clean, and the on site restaurant had delicious food for breakfast and lunch. Valet parking was so convenient and the guys were so friendly and helpful.

Queen size bed that caved in the middle and caused both people sleeping to fall into each other. Super busy valet parking. Took over 20 minutes to get out of vehicle and took over 25 minutes to get our car and we missed our reservations. Gave us a handicap room instead of a regular room.

Nice place . Great staff . I didn’t care for our bathroom setup . There was an un repaired dent in the wall or just painted over. The only parking option being valet was inconvenient

The room was very clean and comfortable, staff was almost overly courteous and the facilities were safe and inviting. The only drawback is that it has zero parking, you either pay for valet or walk for blocks.
