Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Traverse City

Attentive, caring and friendly staff during our stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Our first road trip and hotel stay for our new puppy, Lucy. She loved it, too! Thank you.

Wonderful stay! Super happy to have fresh coffee at breakfast. The hot tub in my room was amazing too. Loved using that after a long days of work while traveling here in tcity!

The best part of my stay was the very friendly and helpful staff - even when I arrived late in the evening and had to leave at 4 am to catch a flight. The staff were helpful (returning something I left at the desk to my room) and always had hot coffee made! I would stay again - super convenient to airport

Thought it would be a better experience. There was mold in the bathroom that was painted over. The bathtub and shower were clearly painted and it was chipping off into the tub. Nothing about the room was positioned in proper spots. The back door that leads to the parking area doesnt shut or latch so anyone would be able to just walk right in. You can hear everything. Not soundproof at all. The curtains dont block out light coming from surrounding buildings. The airconditioners sound like theyre about to take flight, very noisy. There was no blanket cover, just a duvet with a sheet over it.

Great place to stay if traveling with pets.

I generally don’t write reviews good or bad but since I received an email and was asked here goes. Staff was very friendly at check in and out. No issues there. The room however was not so great. We travel with a small dog and always choose a pet friendly hotel even though she is a certified therapy dog because not everyone likes dogs and we better when there are others around. Sadly there were very few choices in Traverse City which is actually a very dog friendly town. This sounded like it was decent in comparison to others. I paid extra for a jacuzzi tub because I thought it would be nice after a long day in The car. Look at the picture there was no way I was getting in that thing. Next the room stunk so bad, musty old dirty, I don’t know but smellly so I opened the windows. The acre s were duct taped in place and curtains torn. Also in pictures. There was a stain on the carpet as you walked in, likely dog pee as ours ran right to it sniffed. A fully dog friendly hotel can still be nice and clean. Use laminate, wood, or vinyl tile floors it’s so much pre sanitary. The smell took a few hours to disappear so we had to leave the heater on to keep the room comfortable while we add windows open. The bed was comfortable and I slept well so they get a plus for that. Cleaning and disinfecting def could have been better. I found a prescription pill and several peanuts o. The floor near the nightstand. No idea what the pill was but luckily I found it first.

Nice place for an overnight for flight out of Traverse city

First off all, the price was extremely high. $250/night for an old smelly place, no daily housekeeping and very thin walls. They definitely took advantage because they knew people were dropping their kids off at school. When we arrived the staff member was not at the desk. We waited for 15 mins or more. Imagine driving for hours and having to use bathroom. The room was not cleaned throughly. Hair on the toilet seat. The last guest socks was on the floor. The hallway smelled like mildew. It is pet friendly place and it sure did smell like pets were there. The guest in the next room might as well been in our room. I heard every conversation, fart and snore. I couldn’t sleep until they went to sleep. Fast forward to the last morning before heading back home, the dang on fire alarm went off at 8am! No explanation of why we were half sleep in the parking lot for 30 mins. Very disappointed and sad that all the other places were booked in the area. Bottom line is location is trash for charges outstanding prices for motel like dirty vibes!

Room was clean, nice comfy beds, easy parking, nice grab and go breakfast and excellent coffee!

Bed was clean and very comfortable. No bugs at all (I am terrified of bedbugs). Room overall was clean, but there was some spots on the tops of the curtains that was I was wondering out- dirt specks. Same for one of the lamp shades. The whirlpool tub spouts looked corroded/worn/not clean and I didn’t use it for that reason. Additionally, I didn’t see anywhere where the jets turned on/off. They allow dogs there, and I traveled with my 65 lb very well behaved pitty with no issues. Overall, great stay, just needs a little updating and a deeper clean.
