We love the Delamar. Great setting, restaurant, and services. We traveled this trip with a friend who is a paraplegic. Her “accessible” room was not accessible. The hotel did attempt to assist by lowering one of the beds, but there were not a power assist door to her room, no towels and because the room had two beds, there was no open area to maneuver with a wheel chair.

We booked it because it was a waterfront hotel. When I asked about our view, I was directed to the elevators, which should have tipped me off. Our room overlooked the rooftop covering the drive up and the parking lot, with no water view. The blackout shade was inoperable. We asked for toothpaste and didn’t get it. Asked again in the AM and got it and they were friendly. We passed on the continental breakfast but it was toward the end of service, it may have had something to do with it. The shuttle was super friendly, very convenient and responsive.

We stayed at this hotel when it was under a different chain. This was our first time back and what a wonderful surprise. The hotel looks great with lots of sitting areas inside and outside. The patio is beautiful, the flowers are very lovely and the beach is very well kept. The guest rooms were very nice and well stocked with goodies to purchase. But the best was the service. Everyone that worked there was extremely friendly and accommodating. I have never had such phenomenal service at a hotel and that includes international travel.
It is a good location being on the water and a close walk to downtown Traverse City. We are planning a return visit soon.

This hotel is in a great location with shuttle service downtown on demand. Free breakfast, valet parking and an incredibly accommodating staff. Clean & comfortable rooms.

We were extremely impressed with our stay at Delamar. Great location to downtown, beautifully decorated interior, spacious, clean, and fantastic views of the lake.
All the hotel amenities from live music in the evenings to the heated outdoor pool were a great plus, but our favorite was the shuttle service that takes you all around traverse. Highly recommend, 10/10

The staff was great, the hotel is in a fantastic location and most things are walkable, the hotel also offers a free shuttle. Very enjoyable!

Best Resort in Northern Michigan on the beautiful shore of Traverse Bay. The shuttle service to downtown Traverse City is extremely convenient. The lounge, common space and guest rooms are very comfortable. The pools and restaurants are very good. With one exception the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not able to accommodate my family of 6 for dinner on our last evening without a prior reservation.

We stayed at the Delamar for our first vacation to northern Michigan in over 20 years. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. We received sparkling wine upon check-in. The staff called our room to make sure everything is going well, and when we saw staff in the main halls, they asked if we could be assisted in any way. The heated outdoor pool was amazing. The patio bar was also great and had a beautiful view of the sunset. Location is convenient, and lots of parking. Room design was great.
