AC was too noisy to use. The tub wouldn’t drain. I was up to my ankles in water with a shower. There was no electrical outlet near the desk so couldn’t plug in my laptop. Only two outlets in the whole room. At $345 per night, the worst value in my 50 years of travel. Would never stay here again.

When we checked in we were told there was no room for our car in the parking lot and that we couldn’t park in the parking lots next to the hotel because they’re active businesses and we would be towed. We ended up leaving and driving 3 hours home instead of staying the night. Complete waste of time and money. There was also a guy following us around the parking lot being inappropriate. The guy was not something the hotel necessarily could have foreseen but I would recommend spending the extra money and staying nearer to Front Street in downtown TC.

This is an old hotel that smells like mold/smoke In every room. We checked the beds for bed bugs and found fire detector between the mattress. The one from the wall was missing. That was strange to say the least. We found a beer bottle cap on the window ledge and small nats flying around it. The bath tub was very dirty and we showered with flip flops on. We stayed Friday and Saturday in the middle of June. Paid $275 a night. Too much for this place. The ice machine down the hall worked and so did our air conditioning. The free breakfast was hot brown water, maybe it was supposed to be coffee and cereal, oatmeal, and danish. Good location.

Upon arrival half the parking lot was being sprayed with a top coat. There was no way to enter the office except by holding on to bushes and walking on the curb. The room was clean but the bathtub was old and flaking. Previous flaking of the white tub had been painted grey. We stayed two nights— neither of us had a bath or shower.. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wanted a night away, to relax and swim in a pool. Checked online and the knights inn was reasonable had a pool. Listed that we wanted a ground floor, due to husband was handicapped. When we arrived to the knights inn, pool was outside, and very cold unable to go swimming and we were put in the upper level with stairs. Explained when I booked we needed a ground floor and it was stated when I booked the room. We could not cancel and go somewhere else because we would of been charged a cancelation fee, plus the price of the room. The other thing was they were having there parking lot resurfaced and the smell was nauseating and parking limited,so unable to park by room more walking. I ended up getting so sick from the smell that I had stomach issues all night and didn't get much sleep, after being up for over 36 hours, just came off of working 3 12s as a nurse on the night shift.and a history of colon cancer. I will not recommend the Knights Inn, for a quick getaway, I am not going to stay at this place again, not very accommodating, very disappointed. Make sure you pay the extra $4.50 person for reservations protection, so if your not happy it will only cost you that $4.50 per person to cancel hopefully if not happy when you get there and check in, and your special requests on your reservation are not honored.

Limited parking—at check in no one was at desk and a person in lobby said the attendant had gone to bathroom. When accessing room door appeared stuck as if someone had put safety lock on from inside. After repeated efforts to access room, it worked. The inside chain lock was loose. Breakfast was very limited in selections

It was ok. Not exciting. The pool area was clean and you could tell maintenance and room attendants we're trying their best to keep the rooms and property looking good. However there isn't enough space for each room to have one parking spot, and no direction to where the overflow should be. The beds in our room had such an awful dip you could feel the boards under the mattress on one, the other left you with a sore back.

I had a late flight in to Traverse City, so I spent the night. The motel was clean the bed was comfortable and the staff at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. It is an older hotel, and could use a few touch ups, but I enjoyed my stay very much. I would stay here again if I am in the area.
