I can't recommend against this place enough. There is no parking, only street parking, & that meant having to wake up at 7am to put money on the meter or risk getting a ticket. The air conditioning in my room didn't work, and it was never addressed despite me informing the issue the next day, when i got a message asking how my stay was going (& i was on the 3rd floor with all the heat that rose up). The microwave didn't work, either, and i was forced to throw away the food i couldn't cook. There is no elevator, the stairwell and upper halls are not air conditioned, so if you're staying on an upper floor, it will be like ascensing into hell as you climb the stairs. They also kept my entire security deposit for an issue that was not my fauly & was ultimately a direct resuly of my air conditioning not working properly. Idk how they can charge so much for something so uncomfortable.

My flight was a few hours late because of the worldwide computer / internet glitches, and when I got there they had completely canceled my reservation but went ahead and charged me for 4 nights stay and wouldn't refund any or give me a room or nothing.

This is a hostile. You will climb lots of stairs. There is parking all around the hote but it’s pay by the hours and you have to wake up before 7 to move it a start feeding the meter. You will share a very dirty bathroom with very seedy individuals and a hard to lock door. The room we were put in was connected with a Jack and Jill bathroom that our dresser and 18 inch television was put in-front of to barricade it and keep us from entering. But the other room connected to the bathroom was rented my a man who was ordering prostitutes and my 8 year old daughter got to hear it all. I know this was a bathroom because I could hear him using the toilet all night. I offered to pay for my night and asked for a refund for the next 2 guys as this was false advertising was ignored and treated like garbage by Omar. He went outside to smoke marijuana as did many of the other “residents” and fully ignored me. He eventually came in and offered to authorize my refund through Expedia. As I left he said never mind. And I was locked out of the building. Any 10/10 review is left by a staff member or paid. Absolutely abysmal and false advertising.

The hotel is an old classic hotel. The room was adequate and confortable. There was not a private bath. The other issue was the parking. Meters or public parking. The price of the hotel was very reasonable so that evened out

Clean, quiet and close to everything. I saw some questionable reviews about sharing bathrooms which when traveling with my wife I honestly would not be a fan of, but if you pay attention when booking, it is a non-issue. We had a clean private bathroom. April at the front desk was a pleasure, and the hotel is exactly what you want for a quick getaway. If you're looking for a high end chain, then look elsewhere, but if you seek a quaint, quirky, locally owned ma & pa type place, this is your type of place. If I had to nitpick and find one negative, it would be that the rooms have carpet. Carpet in general just isn't my thing. It hold too much stuff. BUT, with that said, they were clean. Parking is more than ample, and not that we used it, but the BrightLine station / parking garage is essentially right next door. I would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in the area.

Everything was nice and as clean as you can expect for a hotel thats over 100 years old. Was cute and cozy and the staff where awesome. That being said there are a couple things that where annoying. First theres only paid on street parking but theres the brightline parking garage thats legitimately one block away. Second the point of sail was either having issues or the nice lady was having issues and took us 4 or 5 times running my card for it to work, really not a big deal or anything just annoying. Lastly our code to get in after hours never worked, said something twice but never did, theres a call button on the pin pad and they let us right in both nights. Overall its a great place, just think its going threw some growing pains from some modernization which can be abit annoying but we'll definitely be back!

While at a very reasonable rate for Palm Beach, there are many caveats when staying here. First, the room is small and while it has a sink, it doesn't have a shower or bathroom- like in many European hotels, they are down the hall. Second, there is no elevator. Third, parking is not free-one has to use the parking meters or other spaces outside; either with quarters or using the app. And with the meters it's a 4 hour limit(the vehicle has to be moved afterwards). Good news is from 9pm to 7am parking is free(the meters shut off). The staff was pleasant and the hotel has a pleasant retro feel like from the 1920s and is very elegant. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked well so it all made for very likeable lodging. If you're able to be flexible, the Evernia Hotel will provide for an enjoyable experience.

This is an older hotel with a kind of traditional feel often lacking in more modern lodgings. The hotel is clean, comfortable and safe, and the location cannot be beat, particularly for users of public transportation. It is within easy walking distance of both the the Tri-Rail and Brightline trains, as well as the bus station for trips throughout the area and to/from the airport. Excellent value when compared to the very pricey national brand hotels in West Palm Beach.
