Was t that clean but clean enough but not for the cost. They didn’t have enough parking for our car and we had to park at this sketchy lot and worried of getting towed. Check out was at 11am but even with do not disturb sign out, cleaner knocked on the door numerous times and even walked in our room without asking. It was extremely inappropriate.

I would give this hotel a 3-star rating in general. Because the beds were clean the room was clean I stay there for sleeping and a shower not really spending much time in the room doing much other things. There can be some upgrades to make it more I appealing but for the money I think it's a nice clean room we stayed in a king room with a parking lot view, really don't care about that either. But would recommend it if you're looking for a one night or or two nighter and have things to do outside of the hotel. The pillows could be longer LOL they felt like Chiclets but they were comfortable

Outdated hotel, terrible smell at hallways and room. Lack of parking and a construction next to the hotel makes it noisy and inconvenient

Part of the property was under construction and it made it difficult to locate the motel, or access parking closer to the room.
I will say that the staff was helpfull and the breakfast was very good.

Very quiet at night even though the parking lot was packed. The property's decor was definitely dated and used but still clean. New construction in front of the property created a lot of dust. A temporary detraction.

Staff kind and helpful. Breakfast good.
Our reservation was for 6. We had 4 towels and no bedding for the sofa bed. Took trips to the lobby to ask for these things but always a line at check in. Entrance to parking lot is difficult to get in and out of. Ice machine out of service, men’s bathroom out of service. Beds were small (double, not queen) and sank toward the middle. Bottles of body wash are much better than bar soap when you have a few people in your group.

It was just average. For being in Wilmington and so close to the airport I would think the beds and the bedding would be much nicer. It felt generic.

Memorial day weekend is why you shouldn't book a family vacation. It was cold, couldnt swim at the motel, the beach sucks, it just was a awful experience. Spent unnecessary money to visit the beach. Theres nothing to enjoy about the beach, the sand sticks to everything and makes the whole experience miserable because it goes everywhere you go. There arent any free showers at the beach to wash the sand off, the 2 i seen were on private property. Its overpriced and not a good vacation idea. The beach is just something to look at, see the ocean and enjoy the view. If you dont get a motel overlooking the beach, your beach trip will mean nothing. I got a motel away from the beach, so i had to travel 30 minutes away. It is a small beach, not overcrowded in may obviously. Hot or rainy outside, the sand sticks so make sure to cover yourself and hair in baby powder so it dont stick, learned that years ago, it work's unless you get wet. Hotel was ok, staff was nice but very short handed. The breakfast options sucked, go to mcdonalds instead. Check out krazy mikes in the town of Wilmington for over priced souvenirs. $8 for a dinky keychain ugh the tregambo zoo was nice, there werent any otters, just tons of goats and turtles. The mall was ok but since the beach aint far away, everything is high priced. Only good deal we got was on the motel. Wilmington as a tourist spot, sucks. We will never go back.

I chose Comfort Suites due to the location (it was near the places I had appointments at). Unfortunately this Comfort Suites was old and run down. The towels in my room were stained almost as bad as the carpet and furniture. From the lobby, to the elevator, down the hall, and in my room, the entire hotel smelled. It was like a cleaning product mixed with a peppermint(ish) scent they were using to try and mask the musky/moldy smell....awful! I was afraid that my clothes were going to home with me carrying that stench. On a positive note the parking lot was well lit and the room did have a refrigerator.
