Man. What a massive disappointment. First, this is NOT ADULTS only. Not sure how they can advertise it as such. There was a 12-13 year old youth boy and girls soccer team and a 13-14 year old youth boys baseball team. They took over the pool and were running around everywhere. Also a couple random super young kids.
FOOD: I think I lost weight during the trip. Breakfast was decent, but the restaurants were pretty bad. The Italian chicken parm
was inedible and the garden of Eden was just as bad. Didn’t bother with the Japanese spot. Dinner buffet was decent (think cafeteria food).
DRINKS: bottom shelf. Not good.
SERVICE: excellent! I wish I could rate them separately!
You’re walking distance to the Baha Mar. we bought a day pass to hang at the water park (160.00!). It’s pricey but beautiful (2 drinks were 50 at the park and 70 on the beach). We would also go to the casino ( it’s free and they’ll serve you free drinks if you’re gambling). We also booked a snorkeling excursion to get away for a day.
We had a car service pick us up, but was told a taxi would be 25-30 bucks. It was a 32 dollar taxi to get to paradise island and 35 to get back.
Would spend an additional 700 bucks to stay at the RIU. Live and learn

Felt safe at all times. Easy access to a taxi or if you want to save some money, easy access to bus.

You get what you pay for. And the Bahamas is expensive. I was expecting much more for $350 a night and was disappinted. Also, a 20 minute taxi will cost $35.
This property is pretty dated. It is not fancy in any means especially the rooms. I would highly recommend going to Atlantis if you can afford it.
People come here for all inclusive food and drinks. It's all tiny plastic cups and basic food. If you are thinking you are going to enjoy your whole time here relaxing having an amazing all inclusive experience I would just spend the money and go to Atlantis, that place will blow you away. But you wont get free drinks and food. We stayed 4 nights at the Breezes and did 2 excursions which were the highlight of the trip. Dont bring anyone here to impress them, this is a cheap all-inclusive.

For an all inclusive resort a lot of things not provided. Such as no pick up drop off to airport provided by the hotel, no bathrobe provided not even a welcome drink . Dining is also limited not to mention they open on alternate days. Staff in the buffet are also not attentive. My first time in Bahamas and it was not a great one. Will definitely not recomment Breezes to friends & family. Staff are also not very friendly not even helpful.

The beach was nice and clean. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed and pillows had a wierd smell to them. The staff in the restaurants and snack bar were very attentive and friendly. The staff at the bar by the pool and main floor were at times not so helpful. We had to wait at times because they were too busy talking to each other or flirting with people. The property itself was a little old. The food tasted great at the buffet and specialty restaurants. The soda machine would always run out of ice and drinks. Downtown was a taxi cab ride away and there are always taxis. Overall, we would return to this resort.

Property is less stars than advertised through Expedia. Property is over priced for what’s available. Property should be advertised as a 4-5 star. Very disappointed in the Expedia advertising. I actually, paid to rebook my flight a day early and left a day paid for at the resort.

Really enjoyed my time at Breezes. I went for a quick trip and wanted a hotel next to the beach. The location of this hotel is perfect, only about 15-20 minutes from the airport and access to the beach was immediate. As soon as you leave the main building, you can get to the beach area in less than 5 minutes. There are some free umbrellas but you can rent out umbrellas as well and the staff will set it up for you wherever you like on the beach.
There is also a swim-up bar in the pool are. The beach and pool areas are accessible at any time, but there are lifeguards on duty during normal business hours. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Each day the hotel had a schedule of activities that anyone can participate.
The food was great and had variety for both lunch and dinner, (breakfast options were more of less the same). The only critique I would have is that the rooms and furniture were very outdated, so if you spend the majority of your time in the room, you will be a bit disappointed with the lack of amenities. The rooms do not have a coffee/tea maker, but can be requested free of charge. The rooms do not have a refrigerator but can be requested with a surcharge. It is a no smoking hotel, but they do have designates areas for smokers. Overall great experience, and would stay again.

The reviews on this property did not match what I encountered. Honest and truly disappointed. No shuttle provided from the airport. As two women traveling alone hoping into a random car at the airport was not appreciated.
The resort at check in was crowded, hot and overwhelming. There was a class of musical kids all over the lobby. Along with regular folks trying to check in. A bit chaotic. The kids were practicing their loud band music throughout the morning and early evening. They were all over the property making noise. Very inconvenient to everyone else trying to relax. Dinner time was confusing. Where to sit, utensils, availability of tables, beverages. No direction from staff. Running out of specific dishes at breakfast with no replacements was frustrating. Overall, the actual food and desserts were very good.
The rooms are out dated and just very basic. No refrigerator or ice bucket available in rooms, no ice machines. Bottled water had to be purchased at the shoppe in-house. No spare outlets in room. Had to charge phone in bathroom.
Will not be returning to Breezes. 👎
