Overview

The Land Shark Coco Plum Resort receives overwhelmingly negative feedback, with many guests describing their experiences as extremely disappointing. Common complaints include issues with cleanliness, room conditions (described as dirty, with malfunctioning showers and poorly maintained beds), and a lack of basic amenities such as sufficient power outlets and reliable air conditioning. Several reviewers mention misleading information regarding the airport shuttle and the availability of food and services. Although one guest had a positive experience describing the room as 'nice', this is overshadowed by the predominantly negative feedback. Potential guests should proceed with extreme caution and be prepared for significant discrepancies between online images and the actual state of the property.

Everything was really dirty. Shower was barely working. Shower did not even have shampoo. Really sketchy place and super expensive place for the quality received. I have traveled around the world and this is probably the worst hotel I have ever been to

If you're a spring breaker looking for a cheap hotel to sleep in after partying, this place is for you. Otherwise don't bother. No wifi, no guest parking, there 3 days and room not cleaned once.

The room was nice. Enjoyed having a place to get a few hours of sleep after I arrived in the country before my flight to San Andros.

It wasn’t what any pictures looked like. You literally were just sleeping on a box spring mattress and the tv worked but the volume did not. There was false advertsiting about having an airport shuttle because that was a complete lie!

I don't even know where to start. We arrived late evening , pulled up to what looked like a worn down liquor store entrance. Walked into the premises w an instant feeling of no security. Checked into the office and were told they didn't have a room key. Yes... no room key. Being late we just agreed and we're exhausted from traveling. Entered our room which was less than square ft. The room was 87 degrees temp and had an ac unit which was working incorrectly. Lowest temp the room reached was 83 through the night. One of the windows did not have curtains so every time a car drove by the lights would light up the room. There was 1 outlet in the room. 1 outlet! No space to charge phones/ laptops/ cameras. The bed was potentially one of the worst mattresses I've laid on. You would roll and feel random springs that had worn through. The bathroom was ok but the bathtub would not drain. We went downstairs to grab food in the "restaurant" , more like 8 tables under a tiki hut, only to be told that From a 1 page menu, there were 3 items available. That's it. And to seal the deal as the worst place I've stayed at. We observed during our "dinner" the traffic going in and out of 2 downstairs rooms.. this place was a prostitution den. Needless to say, we had a horrible evening and were quick to checkout in the am. BE WARNED: AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE Positives: UMMMM.... didn't see any roaches.

This place looked nothing like the pictures. Even with the low ratings I decided to give it a chance. I was planning to stay a week but left with all my things after one night. Definitely not a place to stay after likely you've traveled from a far distance to enjoy the Bahamas!!

Said office was open 24 hrs--no, locked, lights out. Breakfast at 6:00--none, and no one around. Said they'd call a cab for us...we started walking to the airport and found a bus...sheets were full of hair...not too sure they were clean. YUCK!

The hotel is a $20 taxis ride from the airport along cable beach o wrong side of the road but for an overnight stay in transit it is ok. very primitive but the staff are warm and friendly and try to help with any request. Good Wifi. Dirt pool and nice outdoor restaurant. Promised breakfast not available and restaurant not sure it would be open in evening . However staff willing to warm up food brought in. Water and soda available from machine. Shower the typical tropical little pressure or hot water and the grouting is dark with mould but that is everywhere in islands in this price range.

I have spent more than 30 minutes looking around for the place, no signs with the name .. anything, the taxi driver figure out after talking to locals. Then I stayed at the front desk for 30 minutes more and no one showed up.
