Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

Wow, is the only word to describe this place. This property has it all. From world class golf, Vegas style casino, to its own waterpark, the beautiful waters of the Caribbean, to seven or eight pools, 220+ restaurants, bars, nightclubs, etc. I can’t think of anything else you would need and what this place offers. This is truly a one-of-a-kind resort. My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there and we’re just blown away. The service is really hit or miss. We stayed in the east tower and the employees at Starbucks could not have been more rude. Other than that, the people were super friendly everywhere we went. I guess the only complaint I might have is the cost. Everything at this place is crazy expensive and there is no getting around it. If you are on a budget, forget about it. If you want to have an amazing time and will not sweat spending $1000 or so over a few days on incidentals, you cannot beat it. My only other recommendation is to never fly Bahamasair. They canceled our flight there and back for no reason.

Absolutely loved this place!! Knew they had a casino but was thrilled when I saw the Sportsbook! It is very expensive but what isn’t these days! 2 margaritas will cost you $40 plus tip…but we found bringing a reusable cup and buying booze at the airport when you land is very helpful for spending the day at the pool or beach. Staff were absolutely wonderful! Cannot wait to go back here!!

this is nice resort but be ready to spend over 500 just for yourself including eating at restaurants, taxis, getting drinks at the bar, renting cabanas, and renting chairs at the adults only pool.

It was a beautiful resort. A lot of amenities. I just hated the only two souvenir shops were so expensive. And they didn’t include bahamas logo, it was souvenirs to the resort itself saying Baha Mar. Save the money and buy from the airport gift shops. It was way cheaper.

The property allows taxis that overcharge guests on the property. The staff was rude and provided horrible service. The resort fees were okay but adding additional fees per day on top of the resort fee was excessive. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Overall experience was terrible!

This was our first time at Baha Mar as ten of us went for my father’s 70th birthday. We travel often and I was truly blown away but our experience. Best way to describe the resort is that it’s whatever you want to it be. If you have children and want to explore the water park it’s amazing, if you and your spouse want to enjoy a cocktail at a gorgeous lounge they have that, want to grab a cigar with your brother check, amazing dining options by top notch chefs, end the night with the casino or at a club they have that covered or relax in a cabana by the pool or pristine beach that’s an option as well. Ten people ranging from 4 years old to 70 and everyone loved it, clean, amazing don’t even realize they are there staff this place is a home run!

We travel to Nassau at least once a year and for the last three visits we have chosen this hotel over any other major ones we’ve stayed before. It’s a 10out of 10 for us!

Absolutely beautiful place. The most beating beaches are in the Bahamas!! The customer servise and attitude of the staff could be better. Definitely have a lot to work on when it come to courtesy. I bought this package with flight include unfortunately Expedia does not make any seat arrangements with the airline and does not advised the cliwnta to do it either therefore my husband and I end up seating away from each other. Thanks aexpedia! The airline staff was not accommodating either thast American airlines!!

Although a beautiful property I don’t think I’ll stay here again. It outrageously expensive, housekeeping barely cleaned - they just made our bed, left mugs dirty and even threw away my $145 dollar steak my husband and I hoping to finish off in the morning. I had to call the front desk to get toilet paper, water and coffee refills. The hotel was extremely crowded which made it difficult to just get coffee. You’re better off staying at an all inclusive or cruise for the amount of money you will spend here. But to each their own - it’s a beautiful hotel and the food was just ok. Nothing outside of this world. I recommend taking a taxi to downtown where all the seafood restaurants are. You’ll get fresh seafood there. Don’t buy into the catamaran either! They’ll sell you on this beautiful thing for $150 pp and next you know - you’re in line with 80 other ppl and no seats left on The catamaran. Oh and don’t spend your money in casino - you WONT win lol!

Nice place but Lines, lines, and more lines. Was waiting in line for 40 minutes to check out, but had to leave without checking out or else I would’ve missed my flight.
