Staff which tried to be funny, but who made us feel really uncomfortable. The property is built up a hill which makes it inconvenient to walk anywhere. They have their own taxi, but are not able to plan. We changed our schedule for the taxi in line with their availability. They announced different prices for the ride twice and finally reserved a taxi which was more than 2 times more expensive than announced. Don’t expect anything complementary, even for the small bottles of water in the room they charge extra. There are much nicer places to stay in Nassau at better rates!

Fantastic hotel very close to the airport. It was so clean and the staff were absolutely wonderful! We stayed last minute on a stopover to another island and they were so accommodating and kind.

We were pleasantly surprised when our taxi drove up to the property, so much so that we thought we were at the wrong property. The only downside is there isn't a restaurant on site. A short walk down the driveway and next door were two excellent restaurants, one casual and the other a little more fancy. Excellent food.

Great quiet hotel with beautiful comfy rooms/beds and fantastic views from a super large balcony. Superb value for money! It’s not walking distance to major tourist areas but that can be a good thing and the hotel offers shuttles to all destinations at a fair price. There are two good, casual outdoor bars with good food/dinner options and fun music in walking distance. As a female solo traveler I felt very safe and comfortable here for two nights/days.

Fantastic. Peaceful and quiet. Nice breakfast not included and amazing views. And close to the airport (NAS). We’d give a 10/10 very charming. Would definitely stay here again.

We were looking for a hotel close to the airport to stay one night before flying to another location in the Bahamas the next day. The staff, all friendly and very quick to help. The hotel itself has a very traditional Caribbean feel, very very clean and quiet. We had no idea there were other guests until the next morning. Will definitely book again.

If you are looking for a small - 10 room - hotel close to the airport this is it. Built in the Italian style of architecture and originally a single residence it is now a lovely boutique hotel. Don't pass this up

We completely enjoyed our stay at Ocean West! The staff go above and beyond and their shuttle service is a great feature! They have an honor bar and a great breakfast! The property itself is immaculate. Very clean and spacious rooms! We will definitely stay here again.
