Great location. We had an apartment that was spacious and well equipped. Plenty warm being on the third floor, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Didn’t use their parking but wound up in a P3 zone that was close walking and inexpensive. No issues leaving the car on the street for a couple days.

The hotel is located in a prime location. Hotel has parking but we were not allowed to use it. The two bedroom apartment we had was spacious with high end finishes and nicely decorated. The dishes were dirty so we had to clean them before using. The balcony was huge expanding the entire length of our apartment. The breakfast was very good. Overall, we were very happy and would stay here again.

Very nice and clean. Staff was great. Breakfast had good variety. Just the lack of parking. Apparently I had to reserve parking but wasn’t notified of such upon reserving room.

A good central location at a good price. They also have parking, which is rear in the city center. You can also walk anywhere.
Breakfast is plain (continental), but you get full.
Rooms are simple, but beds are good. Staff at counter is nice. Breakfast staff needs to learn how to smile, as do cleaning staff!
But I always stay here if they have free rooms. No luxury, but central, cheap, breakfast included,m and parking, if available.

It's in a good location, but there is only one elevator. Parking is a problem. There is only 3-hour parking on the street during the daytime. The breakfast was decent.

Excellent location right on the main shopping street, very good breakfast, spacious and quiet room ( it was facing the back of the building ). There was the smallest TV I have ever seen on my travels - it couldn't be bigger than 13 in. diagonal. Our room was on the 4th floor in the annex and from the elevator we had to drag our luggage an additional 17 stairs on a steep curved staircase which could be a problem for some travellers. The hotel staff - both in the reception and in the restaurant ( with the exception of one lady in the reception ) is not particularly friendly for staff working in the hospitality business - certainly a big difference from our hotel staff in Copenhagen. But overall I would definitely stay in hotel Fron again.

The unit was clean, good sized, and in an outstanding location. The beds need to be replaced - think of a hammock of springs poking your back.
The check-in process was fairly quick but do not expect a smile or any answers to questions about the area. Beware that there is no parking included and finding a spot isn't easy.
There are better places nearby that we will use in the future.

We stayed in 3 different rooms in-between 3 legs of our trip. One room was too small and had a tiny window that partially opened to a hallway. We also hardly had space to open our suitcase. We were told this was a suite and that our next room was even smaller!
The 2nd room we got was fine- it was spacious and we were upgraded when we asked for extra space which was great! They were not sold out and they did not charge extra. It had a window and it was quiet. However the sheets on one of the beds looked like they were used (crumpled at the top and had hairs on the pillows and sheets- a bit gross). Request for sheet replacement was very slow and we had to call a few times before they sent the housekeeper to change the sheets.
The third visit had us in a room on the ground floor. The tiny window opened to the parking lot and people passing by could see the bed if we left the window open. Opening the window is the only way to cool the room! If we closed it, it was too hot. The room was very noisy too as the front door slammed close at all hours of the night as people come and go. Our neighbors had no opening windows according to them which was problematic.
If you stay there make sure to ask for a room in the back building on the 2nd or 3rd floor with a window that opens to the outside.
Location is good.
Breakfast was nice.
Response to request like we needed extra TP was slow- the front desk forgot and we called a few times. Eventually we went down to get it ourselves.

Convenient location and walkable to many interesting points. However, parking is an issue.

Very convenient located in downtown Reykjavík; only thing is you have to find the parking yourself.
