I signed up for a small fee upgrade for early check in. Our plane touched down at 6am, taxi was waiting for us (prearranged by hotel) and we arrived at hotel at 7am. Early check in entitled us to noon, versus standard 3pm. However our room was available, so they let us go up and that was so appreciated since we had red eye flight and nothing to do until noon. GREAT breakfast included as well!

Try he hotel was clean , the front desk could have helped more. As there is NO parking available at this hotel you have to go look fir parking I. The right zones for the right times and get up early to feed the meters. Closest long term parking was 2 blocks away and lugging your suitcases in the wind and cold was not pleasurable. Of course with no thanks to front desk we stumbled on this the last day!

It was our first trip to Iceland and this hotel made our trip even more outstanding. The hotel has a cool vibe and our room was glorious after a rough few days traveling and sleeping in not so comfy places. We are going back and this is will be our preferred hotel. Absolutely wonderful!

My stay at Hotel Reykjavik Saga was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful with all requests. The room was small but sufficient, quiet and well equipped. The location could not have been better. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any travelers.

Rooms were fine and common areas were nice. Bed really comfortable. Only problem with room was that you need your keycard in the inside key slot to use the lights and plug ins so can’t charge your phone at night as plug on won’t work when lights are off. Staff unhelpful and verging on rude. Very hard to find parking in the area (there is no parking at the hotel).

The property was beautiful. Updated, and the staff is very friendly. There was no parking, so that got a little pricey if you wanted to park close to the hotel, but I think that’s the norm in Reykjavík. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Iceland.

Loved the hotel! Very friendly and accommodating except we were asked to leave a common area where we gathered for night caps. They asked “nicely” for us to move downstairs away from the front desk. That seemed rude as we were not disturbing anyone. Otherwise, a lively stay and easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. They made taxi arrangements at a moments notice.
