Leonardo Hotel Cork - Formerly Jurys Inn

Decent hotel but parking was challenging. We had to pay 12 at the desk and another 5 on our way out from the attendant, The staff was not very helpful with prescription glasses that were left behind. Asked reception if I could pay for postage to have them sent to me back home in the US and was told that I would have to arrange for carrier. I had no idea what they were talking about. I don't understand why they couldn't put them in a FedX box and charge me for the postage. I'm sure I am not the first person to leave something behind. Even if the option was to pick them up in Dublin from the other LEONARDO hotel that would have worked. Send them two e-mails before calling and still have not heard from management.

Very nice room, good location, clean, helpful staff. No air conditioning on a warm day meant a warm room, and parking is just ok (we got lucky and got into hotel parking area).

2 night stay with my husband and friends. Parking in closed parking area very close by. Receptionist very helpful. Room not brand new but okay. Walking distance to center of Cork. Bus station just next door.

Limited parking on site, right by the main road and thus noisy all night. Hotel itself is excellent and a great location to explore Cork. Staff really helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet top notch. Dining was good with selection of typical pub food.

I loved the Hotel. The staff-all of the staff- were lovely. The room was clean and comfortable, but near a sketchy neighborhood. The food was delightful, but limited menu early in the evening. I would return. I felt safe inside of the hotel, but, again, I wouldn’t travel alone at night.

Good location. Lucky to get a parking spot.

The property and staff were excellent. Checking in and out was seamless. It is next door to a homeless centre. Whilst out we were warned many times the area can be intimidating in the evening (taxi driver, locals, bar staff). We never experienced it, but more nervous travellers could find it worrying.

Parking is an issue if you cannot get a space in the hotel's small car park. You can park outside off road (if there's a space) but need to walk to the local Spar shop to buy a ticket. Reception staff were not that clear in explaining the parking or advising us of the breakfast times etc.

We arrived early before check in at 15:00 because of an early flight from the UK and a friendly Very helpful receptionist guide us to wait in the breakfast room to get our room ready and after a very nice breakfast our was ready and we checked in with no problem or any extras We will stay again here with our next visit to Cork walking distance from all facilities Thank you
