The experience was enhanced by the quality of service provided by the staff from the parking attendants and food service to the front desk and housekeeping; all provided service with a smile. I enjoyed my stay immensely.

After arriving and dropping our bags at the curb, we were denied parking closeby, even though the parking lot was empty. We were instructed to park in the lot much further away with our small toddler. I told the guard that this was very inconvenient especially with us scheduled to make a few trips on the road and having to walk so far. He informed us that there was a special event and all the spots were needed. This made us feel less important than the “privileged guests.” However, all night the parking lot remained half empty.
The room was okay but this first impression left a bad taste.

The stay at this hotel was awesome. I ended up booking this hotel after another Kingston hotel canceled on me one week prior to travel. It was due to the earthquake that occurred in the area of Kingston. In a way, it was a blessing in disguise.
I traveled with family members, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff from the front desk to The Blue Window Restaurant were great and really accommodating. The restaurant staff tried their endeavor best to accommodate my dietary restrictions (gluten & dairy free). Will definitely book this hotel again should I want/need to come back to Kingston.

Clean with amazing staff from security for parking, bellhops and the servers in restaurants. Jayden was amazing with getting all the rooms together on the same floor. Thanks

We had a wonderful time at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. From the moment we pulled up in the parking lot, we were welcomed. The staff was amazing. The 24 hr cafe was a great bonus considering we checked in after 12am.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful! We will definitely be staying here again

The property is located in New Kingston, the center of shopping (dining, clothing etc, car rental etc) and other activities
I did not like the fact that the parking lot was quite bumpy which made pulling suit cases a little difficult. That may be intentional to prevent persons from falling

I can say from my experience in Jamaica, the breakfast is by far the highlight of the day. The hotel offers local fresh cut fruits including pineapple, papaya, watermelon, green and orange melons, and oh how can I forget some of the best grapefruits I've ever eaten. Also there is cheese to compliment the fruits. Also offered is traditional Jamaican style warm food, scrambled eggs, cooked cabbage, sausage, and other local specialties.
I noticed that the hotel has quite a diverse clientele from the Americas and Europe. The hotel staff have excellent etiquette and very comfortable with handling the diverse clientele. I suspect this hotel may be frequented by guests of the Jamaican State.
The facilities are excellent but a little compact given that it is in the heart of Kingston. Behind the hotel is a nice pool to cool off on a hot day and upstairs is a gym. In the lobby there is a bar and a café which makes excellent espresso drinks. Over all a very nicely kept property. It's almost like a self contained village that one doesn't have to leave. But I would not recommend staying cooped up in the hotel if you travelled all the way to Jamaica.
I could not have stayed at this hotel with out my company sponsorship. If you can afford to stay at the Pegasus while in Kingston, I say do it.

I was told by an unfriendly front desk representative that they did not have a record of my reservations. And after i forwarded my email confirmation from hotels.com to her, she then told me that the reservation was not transferred over to their system and they were fully booked and transferred me to a down graded hotel next door without giving me a refund. I did not make a fuss about it because it was late and i was tired and at the time believed the story until the next day my niece checked in and was told a similar story.
