Altamont Court Hotel

I like that this property was central, it had proper parking and it was clean. Service from the staff from front desk to dining was good. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable or maybe I was extremely tired.

The overall cleanliness of the hotel is good. It is not the absolute best but based on the price, it is good enough. The front desk staff to include Ruschel and Danielle were absolutely polite and amazing! The room attendant Dahlia, is the BEST I have ever encountered in all the places I have traveled. Her mannerism is that of an exceptional person and she was ALWAYS pleasant and had a welcoming style. I would hire her for my business. The dining staff was always professional, especially Shanice & Sushana (I hope I got their names correct). The overall convenience of the location is great and close to food and other entertainment. PS: The breakfast is excellent (best oats porridge) but the dinner, not so much.

Staff provided excellent customer service, room was clean but could do with even some fresh paint to make it look updated. You had different options for breakfast. I like this hotel location because it's location is in New Kingston and it's walking distance to restaurants, banks etc...and only 30mins drive from airport and close to entertainment center.

I like the private parking, the friendly staff and the choice of breakfast. What I did not like, there was no one to show you your room and how things work. Probably because I arrived late and there were fewer staff members.

Location and ease of access to getting around Kingston and to the airport

I reserved this stay for my Uncle, he was very pleased with his room. The 3rd floor has high ceiling for those who would prefer that. Staff was pleasant and the parking was easy to access.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel due to the condition of our room. We knew it was an older property but have mercy, the suite we stayed in looked like something from 1985. The bed was horrible and gave my husband awful bad pain. Positive are the free full breakfast, early check in, 24 hour security, free parking, laid back vibe and proximity to events for JA carnival. Overall, we would not stay again because we just could not handle how old and dusty it was. Never again!
