Fairmont El San Juan Hotel

Great place to stay. Close to the airport beach access was the best. The only thing we were not happy about is that we got bitten by sand fleas .

I didn't like the cost of the parking for guests. I like the facilities, the pools, the acess to the beach, the restaurants and the stores inside the hotel.

Amazing place and very clean. As a first time solo traveler I also felt very safe. Not sure why there are negative reviews but they must be from picky unhappy people. The king bungalow suite was absolutely worth it. Also, the resort is in a great location. You won’t regret staying here!

The convenience of being walking distance to the beach. Near the airport & everywhere is not far away. Plenty of entertainment & the food was good. Good strong drinks too.

The hotel is wonderful, with a disco and casino inside. It has a bar, restaurant, pools. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the hotel does not have parking in the building. You have to pay for valet parking or walk from another parking lot. All of the options are way too expensive.. The hotel does not have an ocean view, just a partial view in some rooms. Do not pay for ocean view.

I really enjoyed this hotel! It was clean, the pool was great and there was a lot to do! I thought that the rooms were clean and spacious and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings. The pool area was good, but got very crowded during the day. Many people ran out early to claim spots. We were always able to find spots, but it was annoying that people would claim some and not use them most of the day. Even when we could not find a spot, the staff was very nice and would help us find one or move chairs for us. The drinks were good, but slightly expensive. I thought it was funny that the drinks were cheaper at the club and in the lobby, than at the pool, but most people spend all day drinking at the pool so it makes sense. There was a lot to do with the club, casino, and live music at night. The lobby was always lively. The concierge helped us to book an excursion, but I would recommend finding one yourself and booking it since it was a little more expensive at the hotel. Also, we had to walk about a mile to another hotel for the excursion since we booked the day before so they would not pick us up at our hotel. It is close to the airport which is nice, but it was not very close to much else. We had to Uber to Old San Juan, which was fine and easy to do. Overall, the hotel was very nice and we enjoyed it very much. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a luxurious and relaxing experience in Puerto Rico. With its beautiful beach, excellent amenities, and friendly staff, this hotel is a must-visit destination.

It is pricey but had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is very close to the airport and there are a lot of little (cheaper) restaurants outside the property that are walkable. The food every where was bland sadly. The pool area is large and there were plenty of pool chairs available. There is a private beach as well. The lobby/casino gets very cold in the evening so bring layers. The casino bar is much cheaper for drinks. They also have live entertainment nightly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly. It was about a 20-30 min Uber to old San Juan and it was very easy to get Ubers from the hotel. All in all great stay for our baby moon. We went in mid February so not many children around and it wasn’t very busy.
