Vista ORT

It was a long flight from California to Johannesburg, South Africa over 20 hours in the air. When our plane had landed, a staff from Vista ORT was present holding up a sign with my name Yukiko on it. He had a big wide smile and said welcome I will be driving you back to the hotel. Late in the evening we arrived about 7:00pm. After checking in at the front desk he then carried our luggage to our room where we slept, and breakfast would be served in the morning at 7:00 am. The bed had futon blankets and was very warm. In the morning, we were blessed to have birds singing. Everyone was warm and friendly; I felt just like being at home. The breakfast was served with hot, food that they brought to us, my milk was warm which I really much enjoyed. Everywhere was safe and the shuttle driver would take us and bring us back. Suggestions were made of our surroundings, and a guide would always be with us sharing education and knowledge. The days were inviting with sunshine and when we were not at Vista ORT we were sightseeing and enjoying our vacation in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Themba from the front desk was a star! A true gentleman and excellent service provider. Great, safe stopover spot close to the airport with free ORR shuttle service!

Great little hotel close to the airport with an excellent shuttle service, clean and comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfast and great service. Highly recommended

It is a decent and modern place, the only thing they need to improve is the service for breakfast or havae a buffet option. The front desk also needs to advise of the complimentary airport shuttle that needs a booking 24 hours prior, we were never informed

Great option for spending a night by the airport before a flight. Complimentary transportation provided and good communication from staff to coordinate. Thalami, our driver was very professional and nice. Room is simple but has what you need.

The crew was busy with a large event but still tried to make me feel as welcome as possible. They went out of their way to make me some dinner and delicious wine. The property is currently under renovation and many exciting things are happening. Extremely quiet and convenient location for anything airport related or also for large events.

This has been our 3rd stay at the Lodge. It is an easy drive to and from the airport. Reliable pick-up’s at the airport.

Our stay was more than expected For the rate per night I paid I expected a bit more run down, I was pleasantly surprised when entering the room. Very friendly staff and breakfasts was sufficient. Did not use their WiFi therefore can not comment on it. Close too the airport and close too a few shopping malls/areas with few traffic to and from airport/shops Free inside parking I will definately stay there again and definately more value for your money spend

Francois at reception was very friendly and arranged for a meal and transport to the airport. I only stayed for the afternoon. Affordable place to rest before a late night flight

Great and spacious hotel. Walkable to a mall with many food options. Also shuttle to airport is a very useful feature
