Overview

Hotel Indigo Exeter is a stylish hotel in the city centre, praised for its comfortable rooms, great location near the cathedral and shops, and welcoming staff. Many guests highlight the luxurious feel and the convenient location, although it's worth noting that there is no on-site parking. Breakfast is a mixed bag, with some guests finding it excellent, while others experienced slow service and issues with order accuracy. The rooftop bar is also a popular feature, and the spa is a welcome bonus for relaxation.

This is a lovely, stylish hotel right in the centre of Exeter. The only disadvantage was that it has no parking. On balance, the breakfast wasn't as good as you get for hotels of equivalent quality.

This is a lovely well kept hotel. The staff are attentive and helpful. The hotel is very convenient to all that Exeter has to offer. I had a stunning room overlooking the Cathedral. I had not appreciated that there is no pick up or drop off point near the hotel. However, the reception staff provided a useful accurate map where my booked airport taxi could park ready to pick me up and it was minutes away. I look forward to staying again at Indigo Exeter. The Retreat Spa treatments and service outstanding, l can't recommend enough.

Really great hotel. Nice design, well equiped and comfy rooms. Good location apart from lack of parking. Didnt eat there so can't comment on that. Drinks are very expensive and bar man didn't appear very enthused nor know what he was doing

Staff is undertrained and unhelpful. I could not get a banknote changed or a taxi ordered. When the lounge next door had a very loud (shaking the windows) event they would not move us.

Well located hotel in the centre of Exeter. Staff were all very friendly. Gym was compact but well equipped. Breakfast was good. Only problem I had was initial suite I was put in was on 7th floor and was certainly not up to expectations. Discussed with reception and was moved to suite on 8th floor which was in line with what I expected (from their booking portal). This final room was spacious, plenty of seating, well appointed bathroom and had a terrace overlooking the city. For parking I used Princesshay 3 (Dixs Field) which was a short/easy walk away from hotel (£15 per 24hrs - secure and well maintained). Overall was pleasantly surprised by Exeter / Devon and look forward to returning

Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Exeter. Not directly on a road so driving to it or getting a taxi is slightly more challenging However I really like this hote

Horrible stay. We had to check in at another hotel miles away which incurred in 2 extra taxi fares after after a long journey. There was no cleaning during the stay. Shower curtains didn’t reach the floor which made a mess every time we showered. Beds too wobbly. We had an ant invasion that we had to clear pooring vinager around the flat windows and doors Cleaning stuff in the morning far too low when trying to sleep. The WiFi didn’t reach our apartment The positives are that although not great standards this place has the basics you would need

The website is misleading and requires updating. The parking instructions were for a carpark that had closed. The restaurant opening times are incorrect as well. When we asked where we could eat at just past 9pm we were told there was only room service - despite the website saying 10pm closed. When we checked later we were told yes bar food was available until 10pm. We ended up eating in the room which felt a bit sad.
