Red Roof Inn Grand Rapids Airport

I believe this property exceeded my “value” expectations. I was traveling on a budget and Red Roof Inn helped me to afford this trip. I received a clean room, quiet environment at a very reasonable price. I would stay at this facility again.

I like that it's very close to Grand Rapids Airport. I have an early flight. It's close to restaurants. Staff was friendly.

If it hadn't already been almost 2am and I had been traveling literally all day, I would have left, but I was just staying one night after a very late flight. The floor of the room was sticky, mold in the shower, air unit control panel completely ripped out so I had to unplug it so it would stop blasting freezing air (it was 60 degrees that night). Looked to be a place where people rent rooms long term for their proximity to the highway, so there was some sketchy activity late at night. Absolutely the worst 'low-cost' one night stay experience ever, do not recommend.

It was very dirty. No garbage cans, plastic bottles left in room from whoever stayed in that room before me. I stepped on broken glass on the hotel room floor. The chair was broken in my room. Linens didn’t look clean. Paid $130.00 for two nights and thought it was a great deal until walking in to hotel room. Air Conditioning didn’t work. People out in the parking lot playing music until 3-4 in the morning. Just glad my car wasn’t broken into as I was afraid of that. Do not recommend this place at all.

5 Nice room with convenient parking.

Rundown, dirty and the urine and pot smoke stench when we entered the room was unbearable. People loitering and we felt very unsafe. Avoid! All we wanted was a simple clean room after arriving home from a very long flight at 1 am. We almost left but didn’t want to risk hitting deer driving to lakeshore area.

Room was flooding from refrigerator, sink was dirty; toilet dirty, shower with some kind of stains, left over bodily fluids? Employee was rude and not helpful, he did offer another room option, I tried to enter room, but it was locked by door stop inside and I could not enter. I did NOT stay the night there, I found another room at another facility. I usually stay at Red Roof when traveling, I will be rethinking my plans from now on.

Well while the guy at the front desk was nice the property was not.The rooms were so old and outdated. It's ridiculous. A little bit of paint on the walls would be nice because they're so disgustingly dirty. Maybe fill in the pot holes in the parking lot and not add fake pics to your website and use actual real photos of your motel.

We rented room for prep for early morning flight. However when we arrived the room was not very clean and the bed had both live bedbugs and dirt tracks. We left and spent the night elsewhere. Even the car would have been better. I want to note that the staff was attentive but could not remedy the many problems to our satisfaction.
